  According to Iredell County records, the $2.4 million facility being built by LB Builders is a race shop for Kyle Busch.  Just to give you a comparison on how big this new shop is, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s facility for JR Motorsports is 66,000 square feet.

Word is that Busch’s new organization could have as many as two and half Truck Series teams and possibly a Nationwide Series team.  Drivers being talked about for the two full time Truck teams include CWTS Champion Johnny Benson and the up-and-coming Brian Ickler

Well not a real surprise. He's already running a couple of late models in some sereis. It looks like he's trying to follow the KHI model. Just wonder whose going to run the buisness side? Also that's going to to make toyota support Randy Moss, Germain and his team of the future. Germain is already on unsteady legs after trying to move to NNS and relizing the money wasn't there so they've been running a patchwork of sponsors back in the CWTS.

For those of you that can't read the apparisal card the facility his building is almost 60,500 square feet. It lists the replacement cost at 5.5 million. And it's been figured that he's going to pay $117 dollars per square foot for the building.

No surprise.  Kyle was trying to buy into the Billy Balew team.  Ickler and Benson are the perfect fit for a new up and coming organization

They ought to make one heck of a team.  A good veteran that unfairly got dumped from his ride and rookie that has already shown promise.  Can't wait to see this one get off the ground.

As far as the owner goes, Yeah whatever but Benson deserves to be with a good team and this could be just the one.
