Since the Hall of Fame game is tonight, it's time to start that annual thread about football season. What are you most looking forward to this season?

Last year right before the superbowl my beloved grandfather passed away at 91. He was born and raised in Harriburgh PA and was always a huge Steelers fan! He told me right before he died that the Steelers had to win the superbowl. Now being from Ohio you are usually a Browns fan and hate the Steelers. I've always been a Bengals fan but I have a new found love for the Steelers, so I will be looking forward to their new season. I went to the Hall of Fame on superbowl Sunday and spent like 90 bucks on a jersey, and I thought my husband and our good friend Ed were going to burn it!

I'm a Bengals fan and, in my opinion, all they have pretty much managed to do over the past few years is to build something up to tear it down. I'm sickened by the fact that they kept Chad OchoCinco or whatever he goes by now over TJ Houshmandzadeh. I mean seriously!! That was the last straw for me. Cutting Justin Smith, Willie Anderson (Of all people!), Rudi Johnson Delta O'Neil andTori James was just a joke. These guys, save for Rudi near the end, were all big play makers to the end, but what do they do? Raise the paycheck for the guy that sits on the bench and whines and cut all the play makers.
I had hopes when Marvin Lewis came in and they brought in Palmer, but man, since then the whoever is in charge of making up the team can't seem to make up their minds! First they want young guys they can mold (Lewis wanted this I believe), then they wanted seasoned veterans, then they wanted a mixture, now I think they are back to young guns. It's very frustrating.
There seems to be a lot of Bengals fans who think this will be a good season with the people they have brought in, and I've heard that Chris Henry has had a turn around in his life. So I guess if there is anything that I could say I am looking forward to it is seeing how Chris Henry does. He has shown a lot of natural talent in the past, he just lacked a ton of focus.
But yeah, I've been so disappointed in the Bengals lately that I've been considering a team jump. Dropping TJ was big.

I only live about 25 minutes from Paul Brown Stadium and I've never been to a Bengals game nor do I EVER plan on going, Well unless I go to watch the Steelers.
I agree Racingnut5, Keeping Chad over TJ was just plain STUPID but over the past few years I have gotten use to the way they do things down their so nothing really surprises me anymore lol.
I think they like getting the First Round Pick lmao.

Seeing if the Todd Haley and Matt Cassell expirement works out, How AZ will do after replacing both thier OC and DC, Wether or not the Bonco's will self implode under the circus the caoch and GM have created this offseason (kind of looking forward to Chicago @ Denver preseason especially after Culter ran his mouth about Denver fans), Jay Culter provong he's a franchiese QB (with his loosing record) now that his weapons were left behind in Denver, Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Joey Galloway someone's going to be open. Which coach will be fired first (My bet is on Marvin Lewis), Will Vince Young attempt suicide again this year, whether or not to protest if Michael Vick comes to town, What slef induced meltdown will Norv Turner and Philip Rivers create this year, How many games before TO explodes, How will the USC linebackers fair (Cushing already has a knee injury & Mathews didn't know that Green Bay was in wisconsin), Can the lions win one game and whose team will earn the dubious honor of loosing to them, Watching to see if the browns do better now that "mangenious" in on the sidelines (I doubt it), See the wildcat blow up in miami's face and see it gone as a flash in the pants one year wonder
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but thats a pretty good start.

lol, yeah, they were probably pretty miffed and/or jealous that the Lions beat them in having a winless season.
And as far as Vick is concerned, I thought he was convicted that he was suppose to have been banned from the NFL for life... and now there is all this talk about him coming back... maybe I was wrong.

I like alot of teams such as the Redskins, Colts, Bengals, Bills and the Broncos. As some of you may see the Eagles are no longer a part of that list. I just can't bring myself to support them after they are now supporting a dog fighter/killer. And I will find an email address so I can email them and tell them that I am no longer supporting them. I know it wont change anything but it will make me feel a little better.

Now that's funny, I live 45 min from the Browns stadium and have only gone to see them when they play Cincy! So you guys must be pretty close to Kings Island. We used to take the kids there alot when they were younger. It was always cheaper to go there for 2 days than to spend 1 at Cedar Point. We always stayed in Blue Ash.

I can not believe that the Eagles, my Eagles (or should I say, my
former
favorite team) signed Vick.
Un-bleeping-believable

Bravo TF!!!! I never like the Eagles (naturally since I'm a Skins fan), and I like them even less now.
