I see on jayski it says 3 crew members from the CWTS were suspended.
Quote
Three Crew Members Suspended: Mike Hennessy, a crew member for the #199 team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Gary St. Amant, a crew member for the #199 team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Richard Henninger, a crew member for the #6 team [Roush Fenway Racing] in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, have been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body's substance abuse policy. All three were found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 7-5 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2009 NASCAR rule book. Hennessy's violation came on Aug. 27, while Henninger's and St. Amant's both came on Aug. 28.

I'm curious if this is the same Gary St. Amant that was the ASA series Champion,
The #99 is the truck Brett Butler drives, St Amant is listed as the crew chief.

The #6 is Ragan's ride.  I bet the cat in the Hat is NOT happy ANYONE on one of his teams were caught using drugs

Just curoius to me HOW it states that two of the guys were in violation ON 8/28... thats a Monday, teams wouldn't be around a race track that day... only back home working on the race vehicles.  I'm curious to know EXACTLY how that happened...
Hard to believe that a few NASCAR officials just "showed up" at the teams race shop on Monday to do "random test".... hhuummm
And I thought I read somewhere that NASCAR took samples at the TRACK..??
I'm not saying they didn't do it... just something don't 'smell' right

You still have a valid point Chris. The Truck race was on Weds and all of NASCAR was at Bristol. So obviously teams recieved calls to have crew members report to a testing facility on Friday. Ragan's team was at the track on Thurs and Friday. Not sure if the #99 guys also work on a NNS ride.

Once again with no list, what drug caused the failures?

We'll never know, because of NASCAR's stubborn refusal to release that info...the only reason we found out what Mayfield was allegedly on was because of the lawsuits flying around.

GIves you a reason to think...
I could see these guys JOINING Mayfield in his law suit against NASCAR
Why
Some of the same reasons Mayfield sued to start with... No list of what is banned and what isn't
The drivers are working in a vacuum, and it's just the usual "pick and choose" by NASCAR

My orginial thought was "Class Action" but that would have to wait until the Federal Courts to decide the fate of Mayfield first. Then a class action can be brought against NASCAR.

Don't feel bad...I almost did the same thing.

That was actually the week after Bristol.  The trucks were at Chicagoland, so they were probably picked to be tested shortly after they got to the track.

Nope pages three and four describe that tests can be administered at any time and the indivdual being tested must report by a set time.

Yeah I see that.
I supose I was thinking it had to be at the track because thats the only time you "hear" about a drug test being done.  It'll be reported "NASCAR tested X number of drivers and crew membners here at the track this weekend"..
Never hear about them testing anyone anywhere else..... (I guess unless they fail)
