Here's hoping the Stars can pull off a better season that last year.

I can't wait for the drop of the first puck. Flyers fans have high expectations going into the season...

Rangers and Pens all tied up at 1 after 1.

I've lived in the Carolina's my entire life.
Been a Ranger's fan for over 30 years.
Can't pull for those Canes.

wooo hoooo
Flyers looked good, especially Emery. They did give Carolina plenty of PP opportunities though...
On to Jersey tonight...

Flyer's looked real good ! Former Greyhound Captain Jeff Carter Scores Big one ! Emery was quite impressive in his shutout . The Pen's also looked strong Sid playing with a groin injury toughed it out , Home boy Tyler Kennedy scored the eventual game winner as he ground out another stout defensive performance. I hear that the Canadians will miss Markov for at least 4-6 weeks with a tendon injury..ouch going to make the Make me laugh (Leafs) real happy lol !

I'll add my two cents
Go Bruins!
I will admit to mostly ignoring them last season...but I know I'll watch more than one or two games this year. We also have the local AHL team the Lowell Devils (New Jersey affiliate). I've got a four-pack of tickets to redeem for them! Sometimes you'll see good hockey at the arena, many times not. It's a good time anyway.

I got home too last last night and missed the Carolina vs. Boston game. Probably a good thing after I saw the final score. Looks like another slow start for the Hurricanes.

It was a sloppy and slow start for the Cane. Its was 3-0 at the end of the first period. I'm also hoping to cacth some bruins games this year, at least on TV. The only local hockey is IHL EHL CHL or whatever HL they'll call themselves this year.

Michael Rider former Habs Star certainly looks at home in Beantown ! The Game was closer than the Score indicates ! Vindication for the Tea Party Crew for their early exit from the Playoffs via the Canes ! Just the 1st Game should be another interesting Season .

Awesome game between Washington and Philly tonight. Reminds me of playoff hockey.
Congrats Philly.

What a game... Nice for the Flyers to start 3-0.
Up next are the reigning cup champs...

Well the Battle of Ontario was anything but lol ! My Senators narrowly beat the Make me Laughs in Toronto ! So boring that I turned the Satelite to the Minnesota / Detroit Baseball Game. Watched the Calgary Flames outlast the Canadian's to move to 3-0 , good start for Sutter's Gang . Only saw the replay of the Caps and Flyers , but it certainly looked like a playoff style match , looking good for the Other Team from Pennsyvania , look out Pen's lol !
