Awesome game. Although the score didn't reflect the effort Canada played with tonight.

Well it certainly was  a Miller vs Brodeur Night , with Miller Playing Brillantly in the USA Goal ! Canada started Slow and Marty made some crucial clearing mistakes . Strong comback effort by Canada , who never held a lead ! Top Marks to
the American Squad on an Outstanding Game and a Bye into the Quarter Finals .  Wink

Well Canada Plays Team Germany Tonight ! Hope there are not any Surprises ! (not to slur Germany) But Canada did not have a field day in Round Robin action lol .

P.S. Actually we have been rather Sexest ! The Women Play for the Gold Thursday , since Canada beat the Finn's last Night .  So Canada / USA Action Thursday for the Gold Medal !  Wink

I'm an Ovechkin fan, so i'm picking the Ruskies over the host squad, but i definitely wouldn't place a bet on it.USA should win relatively easy today.

Canada's 8-2 Win over Germany was better , but will need an even better effort against the Ruskies !  Wink
Looking forward to todays USA match . Grin

Well it's a Three Peat for the Women  , Gold against their Biggest Rivals the Americans ! It appeared that they were not to be denied scoring both their Goals in the 1st Period and then defending the 2-0 Shutout . Great Game with lots of action and Stellar Goal tending on both Teams.

P.S. The Canadian and American Men's Teams watched from far up in the Stands. Tonight Canada plays the Plucky Slovack's for a Chance for the Gold against Team USA should they Win tonight .  Wink

Less than a week to go before I'm sitting in the stands watching the Hurricanes host the Senators. Also, have tickets for the March 18th game when the Capitals come to Raleigh. There are a few more games I'll probably go to in March at the RBC Center.

I wanted to watch the race, live in Vegas.  Had the whole vacation planned...except the latest storm screwed that up. Now I'll be stuck at home. I'll never plan another vacation for feb.

That sucks Jersey Girl. Been a hell of a winter for y'all up there. There's talk of another storm coming at us next week.

I plan on watching the hockey game and recording the race on the DVR. I will not be held hostage by NASCAR ever again.

Watched back and forth between the Gold Medal Game and the Nascar Race . When the American Squad Pulled Miller and Scored with Seconds to Go , I thought the Momentum would put them over the Top . Tough loss for a Tough Young American Team , but a Great Win for Canada on Home Ice . Even Better for Roberto Who finally got the Monkey of his back and can no longer be called a Quitter ! It was Great to see Miller at the Closing Ceremony Taking it
all in ! Great Olympics Canada and Great Race JJ !  Wink

P.S. Should have added Great Leadership via Brian Burke who must have been in as much emotional turmoil as Joanie Rochette with the passing of his Son just weeks prior to the Olympics , both provided us all with inspiration as to what  Human Spirit can Obtain !

Carolina lit Toronto up last night (5 - 1). Hopefully, the Canes will play well against Ottawa on Thursday night.
