The Hurricanes won last night. Of course, it wasn't on TV.

They beat the Bolts (my 2nd fav team) in a shoot out. I really hope TB is better this year, but a 0-1-1 start isn't the best...

We're lucky in Philly... Every game is televised

Last night, we were at the mercy of Versus. They decided to go with the Washington game. No other network is allowed to air the games they have rights to. Carolina heads down to Tampa on Saturday, FWIW.
I'm on the hunt for some good (cheap) seats at the RBC Center this season. Gonna, at least, do some weekend game tailgating.

Well that Stars have started off 0-2 but have lost twice in a shootout. I guess I should be happy about that, but I swear I'm so sick of the sports teams I like shooting themselves in the foot. First the Rangers, then the Redskins and now the Stars. What's next...the Mavs too?

Carolina takes on Pittsburgh tonight at the RBC Center. Friday, the Canes beat the Panthers. Saturday, The Bolts made us look awful. Wonder how we'll play tonight?
At least my beer will be cold regardless.

I can't lose with plenty of cold beer in the fridge.
Of course, I was disappointed that the Canes lost the shootout (not shootout style).
Overall, they played a heck of a game and gave Pittsburgh all they could handle last night.

I love having options. If the racing isn't good tonight, I've got the Canes and Devils playing.
Tyyrus, as always, cold beer never lets me down.

Sports Illustrated has released it's Top Five List of Underachievers ! Top the slackers list is the New York Islanders 32.9% (Sorry Indy) followed by the Phoenix 24.1% , Atlanta 10.1% , Colorado 10.1% and Tampa 6.3% guess they excluded the Make ME Laughs out of sheer embarrassment lol !

After a tough start at 0-2, my Stars have worked their way to 6-2. There's still alot of season to go, but it's a glimmer of hope to this Texas Rangers/Washington Redskins/Kurt Busch fan LOL

Is everyone sitting down ! News Flash the Toronto Make Me Laughs are no longer the Cellar dwellers of the NHL ! This dubious feat belongs to the Carolina Hurricanes with a combined record of 2-10-3 vs Toronto's record of 2-7-5 . Is the Cup on it's was to Southern Ontario....WHEN PIGS FLY !
