I just want Mr. Pretty Boy France to know that this is exactly why you don't see fans in the stands. This is why all the old school fans are leaving this sport. It's not JR cant win, it's not cause Johnson is about to win 4 titles in a row, and it's not cause the COT. It's because you got away from your fans. Im talking Bubba-Fan.

You guys took out Winston, took out Busch beer, and took away the points system that nobody understood and you did it cause this new era of fans were coming in and didn't know the history of our sport. Well, now Bubba-Fan, who doesn't like change, doesn't like being PC, and doesn't like the direction you Brian France has taken this sport. You guys give us hour long pre-race shows that we don't want. You give us knee-jerk rule changes that don't need to be made, and you give us 12 drivers over the last ten races that nobody cares about.

If you went to a NASCAR before the chase it was about more than points, it was about more than top 5s or top 10s. It was about winning and putting on the best show possible for the fans who spend money to see there favorite drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Richard Petty, Davey Allison. You could go to the last race of the year and it would be sold out because fans didn't care about titles, they cared about seeing there favorite driver do battle. But know you go to a race in the final 10 of the year and if your favorite isn't racing for a driver, you don't care that he is in the show, you don't care to talk about him you don't care about anybody else except you 12 main guys.  And why is it any driver that says something bad about NASCAR, you wanna talk to them about it to clarify what they meant? Are you that stupid that you cant look around and see empty seats at places that never had em before you took 43 drivers out of the field and made it 12. I just wanna know why you got away from Bubba-Fan and started listening to this new fan base that changed everything.

I do wanna say I am happy they are listening to the fans this year and gave us double file restarts and made the time change for next year. But I think it might be too little, too late. Go back to putting on a show not a sport. Go back to making every race mean something to everybody and not just 12 guys the last ten. Go back to your fan base that knows the difference between loose and tight. GO BACK TO BUBBA-FAN.

I WANT to believe you are naive' enough to actually BELIEVE all this "Nascar Listens to the Fan" whohaa
Little common sense tells ya a couple things...
First I'll point out fans have been wanting double file restarts for MANY years.  just NOW finally got them..
WHY did they go to double file restarts... well it's all about money of course.  Anyone who can't see that is foolish
Racing had gotten BORING>  NASCAR shot itself in the foot, and took all the 'technology' out of the sports, and teams weren't free to make better, faster, race cars.  NASCAR started mandating EVERYTHING.  Rear spoliers, rear springs, rear shocks.. I could go on and on.
USED TO BE the way it worked,.. if there WASN'T a rule AGAINST it, then it was OK.  They might change a rule AFTER you used it and they saw it was a huge advantage... but you never got 'penalized' for being creative.
So NASCAR had painted itself into a box where they mandated all the cars be the same... and now no one can pass.  Everyone just went out and rode around until the next pit stop.

Moving the starting time to being more consistent.. it was DUMB to ever go AWAY from what they were doing...
Here's the scenerio.  People are creatures of habit.  What do folks do on sunday.  Go to church, go grab a meal and go watch the race... perfect timing.  Every week it was the same routine.  Then NASCAR goes and starts having races all over different times,.. suddenly there is no routine. (And they race on Saturday night now to.  I don't know how many HUNDREDS (literally.. hundreds) of time I have spoke to someone about "going and watching the race today".. And I have to tell them it was last night.  Or it comes on at and odd time and someone forgets it
SO NASCAR is losing it's viewers.. rating are dropping anyway.  SO they HAVE to do something to get folks back into their 'routine'.  Can't having viewing going DOWN and go ask advertisers for even MORE money....

Double file restarts,.. set starting times, ALL that would of happened even if the fans said they DIDN'T want changes.  It's all about the bottom line and how much more money NASCAR can make and cram into their pockets
