I for one think this guy is a great driver who has been put with the best CC and a fabulous team.  He deserves all the accolades he gets and will win title number 4.  But he is just an arse IMO and he cannot just accept the fact racing incidents occur.  He like Gordon are always the first ones to speak about how they are great when they stay out of wrecks (like Dega) but the first to blame others when something bad happens to them. 
Last Sunday he was quick to blame the 77 about the wreck without having facts.  Now after seeing replays and Reuti saying it was his fault last Frida JJ couldn't come out and apologize to Sam for throwing him under the bus without all the facts.  Here is what I am talking about:

"I guess it was easy to blame the 77 because he was the guy that came up inside and got into me.  I think he was the one kind of holding up the line.  It's just easy to blame him.  But it did take 2 cars."
Johnson thinks Hornish had some handling issues and "wasn't going well."

So Reuti says it was his fault yet as you can see he still faults Sam.  He didn't think Sam was going well?  On lap frickin 3!!!!!!!!!  Jesus, the cars were all racing and trying to get going.  My goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  JJ and Gordon will never admit they are wrong when they have done something wrong.  This is another reason why people dislike this cat.

Well I guess it's all in what you read. I read something from yesterday. Which came from Twitter linked to a story and JJ did admitted he was wrong in putting the whole blame on Hornish. He even went on to admitted he hadn't seen a replay of the entire incident before he got to the media center and a frustrating day got the best of him.

The one thing I've leanred being out of work for over a year is, you can always find a story to fit your own point of view. Just like fans and posters here there are media types who have thier favorites and will tilt a story to fit thier viewpoints.

These guys have to endure hours of media availabilities and NASCAR mandated availabilities and when you have writers , citizen journalists and what not in the press room someone always gets shoved in the back and "interpets" what was said.

Well 20FL cannot agree 100 % with you on this one ,  JJ could have been a lot worse , remember he was just eliminated more or less from the Race on Lap 3 ! Why are the drivers all driving like it's the last lap from crying out loud . As for Gordo I have to agree with you there Gordo always has been a whiner in my opinion ...Sorry Smyler !
Don't get me wrong a great racer....one of the best in the last 50 Yrs. But I'am biased ...never have really liked the guy , probably because he has beaten Martin to many times lol . But you are entitled to your opinion and  I normally
agree , thats whats great about this forum we all have our own unique opinions !

Miracle upset would be easier to believe in if it were anyone but Mark Martin chasing JJ.

I'd like to see it happen, but we all know history to this point hasn't had Mark as the luckiest man in racing when it comes to clinching championships.

HHumm I have to agree with Doug,.. there ARE other places that JJ did exactly what Doug said he did.  Seems I also remember seeing something ON TV where JJ appoligized to Sam.  NOt saying you didn'r read what you read... then again WHO has ALL the knowledge of what goes on anywhere.  We all know writers have agendas.  J haters will write him as much of a negative light as possible.. JJ Lovers will paint him as positive.. no issue there.
I think a LOT of the problem is that FANS do the same thing, and so many times personal bias gets in the way of the facts (look at  Jr fan for example)

I can't think of a better reason to dislike someone. I remember the season that Mark won 7 races, --- and Jeff won 9 races and the championship.
Now it's Jeff's driver doin' it to Mark all over again.
Oh well, ......... that's racin' and I hold no grudges.
