And now we know who's going to be Ron Hornaday, Jr's crew chief...Dave Fuge.  And Doug George left BBM to crew chief for the No. 2 KHI Chevy.  Plus rumor has it that Ted Musgrave may join BBM for 2010.  The truck series is looking good for next season.  I can't wait.

And it's not like JB is hard to market.  He may not be one of the young guys but he's had some decent success in the series.  Any sponsor should be happy to finance a truck for him.

As always this is the most exciting racing to watch.  All those cats make the Series awesome to watch.  I think JB would be a great fit for one of Kyle's teams that way he can take Ickler under his wings and really teach him a lot about the sport.

And for that matter he could help Tayler Malsam out a bit too.  Between what he's learned from Mike Skinner and what he could learn working with JB, he'd have a decent future ahead of him.

Cool thing about being a teacher is the two week break around christmas.

JB, I'm not sure if JB is "easy" to market. If he's so easy why couldn't RHR get him a deal done immediately after his championship. Now he's a year removed. He couldn't pull off the most popular driver this year, which I thought he would win hands down after the injury. You would think the "Mark Martin" of the truck series could find easy sponsorship. I hope something comes down the line.

Tayar Malsam: Kid did a good job of taking care of his equipment and just got involved in alot of other peoples messes. KBM needs to teach him how to do starts. The one race he led to the green he about got himself and two other drivers run over by turn one in Memphis. He's got alot of potential and is marketable, as long as he doesn't wear electric sunglasses.

KHI: The hiring of Dave Fuge for Ron Hornaday seems like a great move. He understands the buisness side of operations and what it takes for a championship run also. I hope the learning of new communication styles doesn't slow this team down.

Not a whole lot of news lately, but rumor has in Circle Bar Racing sold the No. 10 team (details to be announced soon) and Jennifer Jo Cobb is rumored to be the driver.  I'll be interested to see what news comes out in the coming weeks.  With 2009 just about over, before we know it Daytona will be here.

Woo Hoo Great News: Trip Bruce has resigned from RWR. Which is a surprise to me looking that RWR has just switched to Toyotas where Trip has a long history with Toyota. But he's back in the CWTS looking for work.

I hope he has Rick Ren's number.

No word on Tripp Bruce yet but RMM has announced the driver for the #81 toyota will be David Starr. This makes David thrid team in the last three years. His expirence ought to help RMM stretch thier budget making sound decision and provide quanatative feedback.

Looks like KBM has 2 crew chiefs in place right now but still looking for sponsorship for JB.  Hopefully they'll find JB a sponsor and he and Trip Bruce can reunite for another season

Trip Bruce has landed...at Stringer motorsports. Trip will be CC the #90 Great Clips toyota in a limited schedule for up and commer Brad Smith. Trip in an interview today said he was glad to see bill davis toyota that SM had purchased since he's so familiar with construction and equipped with set up notes for the trucks.
