That is a little odd.  Perhaps Blickensderfer will end up atop the pit box for Hornaday.

Oh don't tease me like that.... I still think a R&D job at Rousch is going to be more money than CC for a CWTS team. But I'm sure I'll never know. That's an interesting twist thats for sure.

Probably never know what it was that got Fuge moved. Was wondering if it was a chemisty issue. I know almost next to nothing about Fuge.

Its all about chemisty and if Ron believes he can have better chemistry with Drew the Fuge, KHI will go after him.

Drew is staying at RFR, and will once again be Carl Edward's crew chief in the NW series

They worked together the 2nd half of 08 and won a bunch of races together

Am looking forward to seeing many backflips this year

Well they've still got right about two weeks to make a decision.  They must be working hard to find just the right fit.  This sure isn't the distraction Ron needed while trying to win another championship.  For his sake I hope this is the final crew chief change of the season for him.

Well the wait is over. Doug George will be Ron Hornaday's new Crew Chief. Doug was orginally hired as the CC on the KHI #2 truck but has been re-assigned to the #33. Doug is a former southwest touring series competitor. He raced against both Ron and Rick Carelli in the southwest tour. He finished 2nd to Hornaday in the featherlite touring series in 1992. I can remember all three Rick Ron and Doug racing at El Cajon speedway out here in Socal.

That's great!  It'll help that they already know each other so they should be able to work well together right away.

Some new truck news. Stephen Wallace will be in a Billy Ballew toyota this weekend at Las Vegas and will run "several" other races for Billy Ballew. (Hope Rusty is going to pay billy for the sheetmetal Stephen will bend, that kid should have been a fabricator instead of driver)

Also on Sirius today it was announced that Ted Musgrave will not start, at least the next two races for BBM, however he states they he is working on a multi-year deal for full sponsorship. The company was not reported until all contracts are finallized.

Kevin Harvick in Atlanta?  Hard to bet against that.  But somehow I see Kyle Busch and Ron Hornaday, Jr. in there mixing it up.

Well Kevin Harvick led the first practice, and Matt Crafton led the second practice.  I'll be setting the DVR since I'm scheduled to be at work during the race.  It's sure to be a good one, and I'll be watching it after work.   Smiley
