Danica to make some sort of announcement UPDATE: no idea what exactly it means, but GoDaddy.com, mentions on their webiste godaddy.com to check back on Monday, November 30th for a BIG announcement WITH Danica Patrick.(11-26-2009)
UPDATE: looks like the announcement will happen on ABC's Good Morning America.
Also hearing that Patrick is entered in the ARCA race at Daytona in Februday.

That's been dispelled by ARCA themselves on Sirius the other day. No entries for a Patrick or JRM.

Danica is set for the arca test but still no offical entry for the Daytona race...What's interesting is NASCAR has ALREADY approved her for competition in the NNS so no Arca race is required.

With what she's being paid: Might see her parking cars, working the ticket window, driving the hauler, driving the pace car, doing the fly over, saying the prayer, saying,"Danica and the rest of you unworthy slimebags. Start your engines !!!", waving all the flags, pitting her own car (because she fires the crew chief and the entire crew), kicking everybody out of Victory Lane, and presenting HERSELF with the trophy.
Bet she parks it before 50 miles is completed.

If Danica, or her management team, were smart... and not driven too much by ego... here's what I would do.
Enter as many ARCA races as possible at 1.5 mile plus tracks, and as many of the stand-alone NNW races as possible (avoiding the companion events where a bunch of Cup drivers will be entered). That way, she could get her stock car experience and get some decent finishes that will look good on paper, if you don't ask too many questions (like how much money was spent by her team vs. some of the other entries in the field).
Of course, her open wheel schedule is going to limit her ability to cherry pick the stock car events she wants to run.

Looking at the IRL schedule and there are 4 races that are CWTS/IRL double headers
Wonder if we'll see her in a few truck races ??
May 1-2...Kansas
Jun 4-5...Texas
Aug 27-28...Chicago
Sep 3-4...Kentucky

I would imagine if she were going to run a few truck races it would have to be with another team. JR Motorsports doesn't have the equipment for the Truck Series unless they've got it stashed away somewhere, but it's not completely unreasonable to think she could run a couple races with another team. Having said that, I could do without her drama in the Truck Series....

I am sick and tired of the Danica-mania already!!!! My local paper today has a small article on her with a picture. They don't have anything in the paper all year long about Nascar but all of the sudden wammo
