 I've read the web sites, the message boards, and the tweets. I've listened to the TV shows and the Podcasts. I followed the Charlotte media tour, and Daytona media day. I am looking at the track on my TV right now. And yes, i'm committed to "The new and improved NASCAR". Who is coming with me on this wonderful journey of drivers policing themselves, optimism abounding,standardized TV times, Danica, and the"powers that be" listening to the drivers, owners and fans.? Anyone? Anyone joining me?  Hell, it could only get better, right? Let's have a big NASCAR group hug!  Anyone else want some kool-aid? ...Well let's enjoy the new season

Looking forward to another season.  Hoping all goes well this year.  No injuries, no worries... all will be good.  One thing I notice is that far fewer posts are happening on here than did in past years.  Hmmm.

Yesterday's races - okay, ARCA isn't NASCAR, but it's a good appetizer - were certainly a good start to the season. Too bad NASCAR will then go to snoozefest California once they're done with Daytona...

I was as excited as I've been for a Cup race in a long time last night, and they didn't disappoint.  Lots of successful bump drafting, and these guys weren't able to take a small group and pull away from the rest of the field for very long.  Can't wait for the Daytona 500, and I'm trying to ignore that California is up next on the schedule....for now.

I was really excited for last nights race and then it had to end under caution.   They need to change the rules for next year that the race has to end under green.

Guess I'm one of the few who is actually looking foward to Cali. I HATE RP racing so Cali can't get here soon enough. The race may not be as exciting as the 500 but at least I know my driver can control his own desitny more so than in the 500.
