LOL I need one of those to add to my
Canadian Flag, 99 and "Salute to you" stickers
(I refuse to put a Hendrick number on my truck, even if I do love Mark!!) a
"If you can read this, you are about to be BRAKE CHECKED!!"
bumper sticker and, of course, a
"You just got passed by a GIRL"
bumpersticker.
Actually, I want one that says "
Meconium Happens
"

It's going to be one interesting week.
Never thought I'd dis-like a driver more than one named Busch. Tonight cinched it!

<I'm sure Carl didn't mean it.>
<Well, I'm sure Carl meant it, just not the outcome.>
What to do, what to do???
"Have at it boys !!!"
<Don't worry about not being able to win a Cup race, this is so much better.>
<end of sarcasm>
Brad should have waited until turn 3 or 4 to move Carl out of the way. I knew Carl was going to go postal and he didn't disappoint.
Is this racing? Perhaps it's just the "racertainment" I've heard so much about. At least Brad's car didn't get airborne this time.
<I'm glad Brad was hit hard enough to spin him across the finish line. Thanks Carl, you're a stand up guy.>

I hear ya Code Blue..
This is a couple time now that Brad and give a nudge to edwards,.. and Edwards totally over-reacted.
Brad made a great racing move. Gengle nucge to get by.. If Edwards would of done it, he would of said that "it was just good close racing"
Well it was.
But what Carl did as retalitation was just poor sportsmanship. Carl seems to have the attitude "If I can't win,.. I'll make sure you don't either.
Obviously Carls hit on Brad was intentional. You can see the video clearly show Carl turn into Brad and intentionally turn him..
LOVE it if he got suspended for a week,.. especially with INDY and those big pay-checks next week. Sure put a "kink" in his championship hopes also.
Of course when he almost put Brad in the fence in Atlanta, and nothing happened,.. no doubt they'll do NOTHING again this time.
Go Brad... I hope you plant Carl into the wall windshield deep next time you get a chance.
Sure interesting to see the "true" Carl instead of that "ah shucks" phoney face he puts on. Maybe Carl needs to get he bell rung pretty good. Might do him some good.
Like he said last night,.. I gotta do what I have to do,.. and whatever hapens.. happens.
I'd LOVE to see him get the same.
I know Dale Sr's driving style sure changed after he got flipped, and broke a few ribs. SUddenly he had a little respect to what he had been doing to everyone else.

Someone on Twitter had an interesting take. At first I thought it was wrong that it could come to this, but now I'm not so sure it isn't EXACTLY what Eddie Haskell, er, Cousin Carl deserves.
Right now, Edwards is only 74 points to the good in the top 12 in Cup. Should he linger at that point, what's to stop Keselowski from wrecking him out early in the race at Richmond, effectively keeping him out of the Chase.
Should a driver's season come down to that? No. But if it were to play out that way, it would also be hard for me to muster much sympathy for a driver who apparently thinks he can bully anybody he wishes at any time he wishes, leaving wrecked cars in his wake and have no consequences for his actions.
I don't agree with NASCAR that rampant payback is okay (and this wasn't even payback for anything that deserved payback-BK got loose racing hard for the win and Carl had to move up the track a few feet), but as long as it is condoned by the sanctioning body, Carl needs to look at the tape from last year when Denny Hamlin got his own shot in on Keselowski-it was done in such a way as to keep other cars out of it, and therefore also didn't endanger BK by wrecking him across of two lines of oncoming cars at full speed.
Letting drivers police themselves to a certain degree wasn't a terrible decision by NASCAR. But given that at Gateway there was nothing to "police" and Edwards wasn't paying Kes back but rather just dumping him (and about a dozen other cars) for track position, NASCAR SHOULD have taken the same hard line they used to and never let Edwards set foot in victory lane.

Always knew the oh shucks, golly gee attitude was phony. Last night was the last chip I needed to see to dislike Carl. That was such an idiotic shot and could have been a lot worse than it was. I know we live in a world of facts and not "what ifs" but that move last night was terrible. I hope Nascar turns their cheek again (and they will) and I agree, it would be funny to see Brad put Carl out of the chase.
There is not one thing that even a fan of Carl's can say about that move to legitamize it. why doesn't Carl take lessons from Kurt Busch and JJ. They showed at Loudon one can give a nudge out of the way but not wreck someone and the nudged driver can come back and win. Just shows that Carl is in arse in the car and his temper is out of control. Way to race Carl

Way to go Carl for creating all sorts of unnecessary carnage. Turning left to wreck someone isn't right....Brad at least made the pass and didn't wreck anyone in the process. In the meantime you've got a large number of NW teams that have taken a huge hit in their wrecked equipment. Like Doug, I never thought I'd dislike anyone more than Kyle Busch...Carl did a great job in pushing me that direction earlier this season, but this one pushed me over that line...

All drivers need to realize that as angry as they may get at one another, they need to think before they crash someone deliberately. I know that's easier said than done, but you need some self-control.

I am going to go out on a limb here, and predict that Carl Edwards does not make The Chase. I have a feeling Jack Roush will be getting a call from Roger Penske as well.
Also, Carl, please report to the NASCAR trailer for a random drug screening.
NASCAR is in a tricky spot here - they have Edwards featured prominently in their ads and as the face of the sport. Do they bench him, or let him continue to run unchecked and seriously injure and/or kill somebody? Not being melodramatic here - the last two incidents tell the tell.
Also, lets not foget his other little freakout at Daytona two weeks ago that saw Kurt Busch get t-boned after the race. Another incident of him intentionally trying to wreck somebody at a 200mph track because of the slightest of contact.

In the long run, bragging bullys usually get what's coming to them.
I can't hardly wait to see him in a full body cast.
Maybe that will give him some time to think.

Edwards=Scumbag cheap shot artist. I can't stand this guy. Between the 2 Brad incidents this season, the Kenseth nonsense, fighting Harvick, and cheating to get the win in the very first live Sprint Cup race I attended, he's quite simply the one guy in racing I hope someone punts every race.

I am not a fan of either but I do like Roush. Could Keso have avoided bumping him...yes (he gets paid a lot of money to control his car). Was it enough to justify Edwards taking him out...No. I lost a lot of respect for Edwards and hate it for the guys taken out that are not in this feud.
I dont think we will see a big penalty, especially one that suspends him from the cup race. Remember NASCAR hasnt even warned him yet. They had no issue with the last occurance. Fans did, but NASCAR didn't.
Montvale....a full body cast? That is a little extreme isn't it? I can see wishing him to get bumped out of the race but injury?

He could have done that to Brad K...or Jr, or Kenseth, or Harvick, or any of the others he ran into when he was mad.
Oh, have his jaw wired shut too, so he can't brag about it anymore.
Well, maybe that is a little extreme....

If anyone one wants I have a complete listing of e-mail addresses and websites for contacting Carl Edwards sponsors. I cannot stand by any company that can stand by a drivers whose actions are so abhorrently out of touch with NASCAR standards and expectations of the most professional race car drivers in the world on repeat occasions.
