Hey all,
I know you've been waiting a long time, but I post with good news ... it looks like the fantasy games will be back up and running by Texas next week. More info to come when it's confirmed ... I'll know for sure by this coming Tuesday. We were hoping to get it up and running for Phoenix this week, and it looks like all is well but we want to run one more test first to make sure everything's kosher. Absolute worst case, Talladega the end of April if that test fails.
All the 2010 signups for the Game of Tomorrow were integrated into the system - that's already done - so it's just a matter of advertising additional signups and letting all the old teams know we're starting up the fantasy games once again. So if you're not in a fantasy league this year ... spread the word! We're back in action! The goal is to do Hat Dance, Game of Tomorrow, and a modified version of NASCAR Knockout for 2010.

Hey guys,
An update ... the Game of Tomorrow WILL RETURN beginning at Talladega NEXT WEEK! Woohoo! We ran a semi-successful test over the weekend, ran into a bit of a snag but have the issue figured out as of tonight. Due to the snag that took all night tonight to weed out of the system, we decided to give it an extra week, just to be sure. It also allows us to start marketing the return of fantasy and get as many teams as possible to come back and play.
Some quick notes:
- If you signed up for Game of Tomorrow in the offseason, you'll get an email notice soon confirming next week's start to the season and that your team is already entered into the system. All you'll have to do is set your lineup for next week based on the five groups we've provided! (The rules will be almost identical to 2009).
- If you have NOT signed up, you'll need to do so starting today. Once Kurt has your information (using the MachForm signup sheet on the fantasy page), he can get your name inputted and get you set up for gameplay in 2010.
- We're discussing prizes this week. Chances are, with the late start we may divide the season into two segments: the regular season and the Chase. We'll do a segment winner and overall end-of-season winner for the game.
- Over time, Hat Dance Dynasty will return ... but for now, we're focusing on the Game of Tomorrow. Tentative plans to revive NASCAR Knockout midseason.
Thanks for your patience and bearing with us during this transition period, and don't hesitate to email if you have any questions! Now that we're getting a handle on the software, things should be good to go from here on out.

Hey guys,
Great news! The Game of Tomorrow is up and running!! Visit the revised webpage below:
http://www.frontstretch.com/fantasy_archive/13894/
OR
http://www.frontstretch.com/fantasy_archive/13888/
The advertisement hit the site this morning, and we're taking registrations starting now!
1) When will the game begin?
- Brian623 is right. The software is up and working, but after discussing it from a marketing standpoint we opted for an additional seven days, especially considering the unpredictability that is Talladega. Talladega is the worst race to pick fantasy for, it's so unpredictable and we wanted everyone to start with a race where they're not just rolling the dice. So yes, the game will start NEXT SATURDAY NIGHT at Richmond. This is CONFIRMED.
2) What prizes will be available?
We will still do year-end trophies like we always do. However, we're not doing segments this year because of the late start. It's going to be a full-season deal. A basic prize package will be announced this coming week, and depending on sponsorship additional prizes may be added as the year goes on.
3) What about Hat Dance Dynasty, NASCAR Knockout, and 4Play?
4Play has been retired for good as a Frontstretch game. There is talk about bringing back Hat Dance and Knockout, but at this time we're going to go with one game first as the new fantasy coordinator, Kurt Smith, gets settled into his new role. As time goes on, you will see the fantasy part of the site grow once again.
If there are any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us through the Forum, or
fantasy_game@frontstretch.com
. Thanks, and hope you all play!
