I know this is grim and morbid, but I wonder whatever happened to the #3 car that Dale was killed in? Is it locked away in a vault or warehouse somewhere? Was it scrapped? Just wondered if anyone knew.

After the investigation was completed it was returned to RCR and scrapped.  Their intention was to make sure it was never exploited in a public exhibition.
