I think it is total crap that these start and parks run every week and send drivers such as josh wise, morgan Shepherd, willie Allen, Derrike Cope home. Those guys are here to run the full day. Now the S&P are sending them home so much they are losing money and will have or already beginning to start and park because of cars such as the 90, 91, 92, 56, 96. It isn't as bad in cup. It just really ticks me off. Idk how NASCAR can stop it but they need to.

Welcome to the forums NSRacing!  Sadly, I fear start and park teams are going to be a part of NASCAR for years to come.  It would be nice if NASCAR wouldn't allow those teams to qualify unless they intended to run the full race, but we all know that'll never happen since they need full fields to ensure they get their tv money.  Just wish there was a way to only use S&P teams if they needed a full field rather than sending home teams with legitimate attempts to run the full race.

On one hand, I'd like to agree with you.  On one hand, I DO agree with you, though I think it's a bigger problem in Cup because the motivation is different-there, it's all about the paycheck, and they DO make it harder for the small teams who want to run whole races.

In Nationwide, I understand it more.  In this day and age of the Cup drivers invading the series and taking all the best sponsors, money, and equipment for themselves, having a start and park effort is the only way some of the smaller teams compete.  If it wasn't for the efforts of Mark Green in the No. 49 for example, the No. 28 of Kenny Wallace, who does go the distance every week, wouldn't even be able race at all every week.  Sadly, until NASCAR does something to fix the series, this is a sad by-product of the greed on the part of the Cup drivers and owners in the series.  So while I don't love it, I understand it, and I'm grateful to Mark and the No. 49 for their efforts so that Kenny can race every week.

So in theory, I can see why fans are frustrated...but in practice, it's a totally different story for some of these teams-it's simply the only way they can survive at all.  And losing all of the little guys would be, in the long run, far worse for NASCAR.

It's not a good sign that the TRG Cup team (Bobby Labonte) did a S&P this weekend at Dover.  After they worked so hard to get in the top-35, it comes down to not enough money to run the full distance every week.

I imagine Robby Gordon's team will have to make some tough decisions in the next few weeks, too.

At the Cup level, it's not going to do permanent harm to the series... it's just embarrassing.

For Nationwide, yes, it is more serious, since the dominance of the Cup-affiliated teams has already put the squeeze on the little guys... not just for spots on the starting grid, but for the little bit of sponsorship money that is out there.  The series needs to be something more than a rehearsal for the Sunday races.
