...or is the "new" Kyle Busch not as irritating as the old one.

I used to refer to him as the little punk, even stopped buying M&M's.  But lately, he just doesn't seem as annoying.  Maybe it's the pink kitten car...

Congratulations to Kyle for pulling off the double this weekend, and coming within a couple of gallons of gas of the triple.

I guess so because I couldn't stoop to such blasphemy.  Grin Grin Still my least favorite driver. But hey, we all have those that we're fans of and those that we love to root against.

There is a "new" Kyle Busch? Guess I haven't been paying much attention lately. I'm sure the "old" Kyle Busch will return when things don't go his way.

Yeah I been seeing the new Kyle also...
I'm sure he'll have his blow-ups from time to time.. I think a few others have gone threw the same phase.  (stewart, etc)
IMO I think Kyle starting his own team has a lot to do with his maturity.  He can see the operation from both sides now, and I am sure it is an eye opening experience for him

There are a few things in my life that I can say I will never do (cheer for Auburn or Tennessee) but I had to go back on one. I have actually started to pull for the new and improved KB. He is much less a whiner and you have to give him credit for running flat out all of the time.
I am still more of a Stewart fan but kind of like KB. It was kind of fun to get those stairs from the fans around me at Bristol and Tdega this year when cheering for him.

He's slowly growing on me but still has a long way to go.  And I've got to say I agree 100% with Chris in saying starting his own team has helped Kyle maturity tremendously.  I've always said it wouldn't surprise me if I were to some day become a Kyle fan since I dislike him for the same reasons I used to dislike Kurt...

Kyle hasn't annoyed me too much this season. This year, Denny Waa-mlin holds top honors.

I still find Denny to be the more tolerable of the two.  Maybe it's because he's not going out and beating kids every week and expecting everyone to talk about how great he is.  Nor does he refer to himself during those minor series races as "the Denny Hamlin Show" like Kyle does.  And add me to the list of those not convinced that the old Kyle won't come back full force when things aren't going his way.  It's easy to look mature and act like a good sport when you're winning everything in sight.  Let's see how he does when he gets dumped or has mechanical issues.

Great race last night and Kyle saying on the radio, "keep me awy from denny" and then he enters Hamlins hauler and waits.  Too funny.  Kyle will always be Kyle.  He won't change just like his brother hasn't changed but it seems as though he has.  Hell of a racer though Wink

Hey!!  Cmon folks!! WHO wouldnt a been a tad upset after that?? No one I know of persoanlly.Gotta cut him at least a little slack dont ya?? Geez cmon now.
Denny DID run him up the track til there wasnt any room left. Doug, The OLD Kyle woulda just turned left and spun him ( A LOT of drivers would have), instead he did all he could to stay off him and i gotta give him some credit for that as well.

I also didnt care much for the waitin in the hauler thing either but  Kyle was understandably upset , he DID have a car that coukld have possibly won the race and a million $$ is nothing to sneeze at.and so far ive heard very little about anything happening between KB and DH. Im sure JG will have em sit down and air their complaints and excuses to each other and life will go on. At least he didnt go on camera at that point and thats another point for Kyle thats becoming much better IMHO.
The ONLY comments made were to the crew,The old Kyle woulda been on TV ranting and ravin..

It took a Loooong time for Kyle to grow on me ,but he has indeed, and I do see a world of difference in him. Perfect? No, of course not (who is?)...but he's growing and learning and  I like him! Cool

And like him or not ,ya just  gotta admit the kid can wheel a car ,good or bad.

You're my guy Kyle!! Just keep on growing up. Wink
