OK.. did I miss something...
I DID watch qualifying (well off an on today)
But I saw M Martin qualify, and they was talking about how he just missed winning the pole.. and they interviewed him, and he was happy with his lap.
So I go to work on who I am going to pick for my fantasy game.. and I see Martin is starting 42nd.
No work of any problems found in tech,.. no nothing..

To make it more confusing.. here are a couple sample qualifying times.
This is where Martin is listed...
40-OP   7   Kevin Conway #   150.301   23.952
41-OP   37   Tony Raines   149.701   24.048
42           5   Mark Martin           155.561   23.142
43           46   Michael McDowell   151.796   23.716

Notice Martins time is 23.1... but he is down there with people nearly 24 seconds.
To me this is where his time should of put him...

1   48   Jimmie Johnson   155.736   23.116
2   43   AJ Allmendinger   155.642   23.130
huumm  Here??
3   56   Martin Truex Jr.   155.353   23.173
4   11   Denny Hamlin   155.320   23.178

I would think if there was some sort of tech problem.. word would be out on NASCAR, and also on Jayski.  Also he would be "last" and not next to last.
Also hard to believe that as long as been since qualifying was completed any errors would be corrected.
SO.... anyone heard anything ??

oh I found something...

#5-Martin had the third fastest speed, but had his qualifying time disallowed after failing post-qualifying inspection because the right rear shock exceeded the maximum allowable pressure.

Funny how it's been downplayed and no story on NASCAR or Jayski about it... and why is he just next to last...
Seems if his time is disallowed,.. he should be listed behind EVERYONE.

Another reason for that 5 team to get kicked down.  Now if they cheated than they deserve but certainly this season ha been a shocker for this team.

I think someone mentioned this on another thread...
But Martins season hasn't been much this year,... and IMO I think it's because Hendrick took away a team, etc that did GREAT^ last year, and gave that bunch to Jr.
Then gave Jr's bunch to Martin.
That of course all in hopes of trying to get Jr good finishes.  It's obvious it didn't work...

Martin should have the team he had last year, and he would be competative again...

Jr's not going to do anything no matter what the owner does.

Hendrick Doing All He Can To Ensure THE FAN FAVORITE JR. Can Compete . No Real Secret , Not surprised at all . Mark is on the way out so Rick has to do what he can to save Jr's Ride .

Note: So the Shocks are supplied by Nascar to the Team Right ? So what are they saying that the Team Altered the Pressure ? Are the Shocks not Sealed ?  Did Nascar Supply a Non Compliant Shock and then Penalize the Team ? What Gives ??  Huh?
