NHL Locker Room 2010 -2011 Season

It's early into the hockey season. Dish Network is having problems with Fox. That equates to problems for me. I've lost Fox Sports South and F/X. I'm too cheap to buy the NHL Center Ice package. Funny, I'm not too cheap to watch games at the Carolina Ale House.
I went to a preseason Hurricanes game on October 1st. We beat the Atlanta Thrashers in OT (2-1). We start a 5 game road trip out west on Thursday the 14th, beginning in Ottawa.
Good luck to all Frontstretch hockey fans and your respective teams.
Anyhow, maybe hockey season will wake a few folks up on this site.
GO CANES !!!

My Flyers are off to a good start with 5 points in 3 games... But it's difficult to get into hockey mode when they're still playing baseball around here.
Let's go Flyers
Let's go Phillies

SJG: I'am with You with the MLB , Go Phillie's and Doc !
EMT: The Senators are Struggling Baby ! Leclaire out may be a Blessing ! I certainly Hope they Give Robin Lehner (Swede) who Backstopped my Local Greyhounds last Yr a chance . He looked great in Pre-Season . Elliot although once a Stalwart has lost a little of his Brilliance of late. I thought of you at Moose Camp Thursday Night . Watched the Sen's against the Canes on the Only Channel or Trailer TV could Provide , actually was Double Header Night with both Hockey and World Series !
Note: Montreal tonight and then the Penquins..Ugh !

I'm just glad to see ya'll posting !!! Looking forward to a better season from my Canes this year. I went to a preseason game on Oct. 1st and have Champions Club tickets for our Nov. 3rd game against the Islanders.
I'm rather upset that Dish Network and Fox are so &#@*ing greedy that I no longer have Fox Sports South to watch the Canes at home. Hopefully they'll work something out SOON.
Take care my friends.

The Canes aren't doing well on their road trip. Losses against Ottawa and Vancover...
On to San Jose Tues. night.

Been too preoccupied with the Rangers to watch the games, but the Stars have started 4-0...I almost can't believe it after last season.

The Canes took care of business last night. Since Dish Network and Fox are having their little spat, I didn't get to see the game. I'm getting the free NHL Center Ice preview deal, but guess what team gets blackouted? Grrrrrrr.

Just got home from watching the Hurricanes destroy NY Islanders, 7 - 2. I loved it. Had Champions Club tickets, free drink vouchers, free food...Awesome night.

Sen's put the Hurt on the Bruins , move into 4th Place . Nest is the Broad Street Bullies currently in 2 Place , will most definitely be a challenge for the Boys from Ottawa , Jeff Carter will have the Flyer's Soaring !

look out Sens...in the last two games the Flyers have outscored their opponents 13 to 3, and are 8-1-1 in their last 10. And Carter just signed an 11 yr extension

Philly showed the Hurricanes what a quality team looks like on the ice. Montreal reinforced that lesson Saturday night. My Canes are better this season, but have a long way to go.
