This might not be the right area of this forum, but I guess everyone can get over it.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the men and women that served this country. You made a huge sacrifice that we can never adequately repay. Too bad we only take one day a year to say thank you. It should be an every day thing.

Lest We Forget This Ultimate Sacrifice given by our Family Members Past and Present . Personally I have had Family Members Involved within all Previous Conflicts , all Returned other than my Uncle who was lost in WWII in France . Absolutely Tyyrus. So many people around the world have paid the price to make sure we all have the lifestyles we are afforded. You Uncle is a true hero and I thank him and his family for paying that price.
I have had family members and friends who have served during the WWI, II Korea. Vietnam and the current confilct and the price is very high. I have a good friend whos son is a machine gunner on a Humvee in Iraq. He spent over 9 months in a combat zone with no days off, no vacation, no breaks from the hell and the real topper was no real shower. I just cant understand why we think we have to give our prisoners all of the comforts but send our kids into a war zone and dont insit they have it better than a common criminal.
Ok I will step away from my soap box now.

Your quite Right JAF , the Rules of War have seemed to have remained as consistent as the cruel conditions from which they are played out . I recall Burma had horrific conditions !
