Hi everyone did everyone see kyle petty in the booth for yesterdays busch series race? Didn't kyle used to be 1 of espn's announcers for the busch series races espn televised didn't he work for them until either 1999 or the year 2000?

I think kyle started as an announcer in pit road in 1994 and i think was in the booth for espn at a few races i think although i could be wrong on that one.

Kyle Petty in the announcer's booth was a good change of pace. I like Kyle.
He may not always finish a race up front, but with what he and Pattie and Richard have done for the kids at Victory Junction Gang Camp, put them waayyyyyy out front in my book.

Kyle would have to screrw up pretty bad before anyone would ever hear a bad word about Kyle come from my mouth. I can't imagine a better tribute to remember Adam than what the Petty's made happen. Winning races is nice, but winning hearts is even nicer.

I wonder, would I prefer to be remembered as a winner, or champion -- or as a founder of V.J.G.C.?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Huh?

I'll get back to ya on that one. Gotta think 'bout that. Wink Smiley

I always use viewers choice on Trackpass when I watch the race and Kyle is always one of them I look for.  Of course I am always disappointed, but I always care what happens with him.  I agree, a classier guy than Kyle Petty would be harder to find than an honest man in congress.  He is the yardstick I measure manliness by.  For you newbies, Kyle used to actually be competitive... he even won races back in the day (I hate that phrase, so I don't know why I'm using it, lol).  Maybe he could turn over all operations to Robbie for a year or two and take Bennie's place in the booth, if that becomes necessary.

KYLE Petty And Tony Stewart are the biggest givers nascar has.  I got to meet Tony and Kasey Khane wed. at Skagit speedway here in Washington state at the Kasey Khane foundation Charity event. Kasey was a few minutes late so tony walked Thu the crowd and talk to us fans.. one guy had his little dog dressed up in a home depot outfit and tony wanted to hold the dog then someone handed tony their cell phone and the guy on the other end couldn't believe it was tony [really funny stuff] then we got to talk to him about figure eight racing. weather you like tony on the track or not. a more humble and caring person you will ever meet. well maybe Kyle Petty And Kasey Khane are equals
