Dale Junior suggested California dig up the race track and start over. What do you think? Check out Full Throttle for some suggestions and share your own here.

California should be sold to the AARP.

Give Darlington it's Southern 500 date back. Not so sure we need to go to Michigan 4 times a year.

I would rather see a flying carpet race in Iran than another race in Fontana

Fontana should seek race sponsorship from No-Doze.
There's a FORTUNE to be made, I tell ya!

I doubt the Cup race will be any different...if I need a nap later I'll make sure to turn it on.

So what say you all now? It wasn't a bad race. If reutiman hadn't have been nailed in the ass with seven to go we would have seen a great finish. Havawreck was charging like a shopoholic with an unlimited credit card at a supermall. Tracks need to season. What is so hard to understand about that?

Well I don't have a darn thing to say about the race...cause I didn't see it. We played cards with my inlaws all night, and frankly that was much more fun for me.
Heard it was a pretty wild race though.

I've never been high on California Speedway, however, the track's seasoning seems to have made (this weekend's race, anyway) a bit more tolerable. Of course, NASCAR's timely yellows never hurt. The sanctioning body has a habit of bunching the field up near the end in hopes the fireworks will fly and the TV audience will go away remembering only the exciting finish. I'm not an advocate of race-engineering (which is what NASCAR does) but the final 30 laps yesterday were entertaining....and believe me, I never thought I'd say that about an event in Fontana. Plus, the speed alone is friggin' awesome.

I'm gonna have to agree with ya on that. I was doing the DVR thing as I watched a few laps but turned it off as I seen it would just take up space. I honestly can't believe that they took a day from Darlington for something as Boring as this. I wouldn't mind seeing another Atlanta or maybe another Short Track INSTEAD of California. IMO I would just tear it down and Count my Losses because that's Exactly what it is, A LOSS.

Well you would think that Stewart would know better than to do something as DUMB as Speeding on Pit Road. I hope this isn't a pattern and what I mean is that he has run VERY well at the first two races but then the finish is anything but Stellar. That whole team know's that to win another Championship you have to run good the whole race, Not just 1/2 or 3/4. Now the Good thing about all of this is that he HAS ran good for at least 1/2 or 3/4 of a race.
As for Martin, That WHOLE team has really surprised me and it WILL NOT be long before we see Martin in winner's circle. When I first heard that Martin was going to Ginn racing I thought Oh No we will never see him in Victory Lane again for the simple fact that they wasn't a threat to win MOST of the time. In come's Martin and Ginn racing is on the BIG MAP. I'm not saying that they were no count but ya have to admit that by them getting Martin has Honestly done something to this team. I'm not sure how happy Nemechek is with first losing his sponsor and now Martin running so well in the SAME car that he drove but knowing Nemechek and how NICE of a guy he is then he is probably OK with it. Oh by the way Ty. Do ya think that Jr made the Engine Shop MAD with his remarks at Daytona LMAO.
