I am just flabbergasted. ANOTHER Atlanta and complaining about boring in the same post? Dude, have you actually WATCHED an Atlanta race in the last few years? 43 cars going 43 different speeds. I have literally fallen asleep AT the track watching the races. I fell asleep the year that the grinner (Carl Edwards) passed Jiminy Johnson at the finish line for the win. 1/4 of a mile to me doesn't make up for 499 3/4 miles of sheer boredom. Atlanta USED to be the best track on the circuit IMHO (and not just because it's my "home" track), but those days are gone. AMS does NOT like the new aero rules NASCAR has mandated and what used to be three and four wide racing has just become a high speed train where if attrition doesn't take the fastest car out, he will win by miles........
It doesn't take much to get you Flabbergasted, Does it? I guess I need to start being more PRECISE. I am talking about a track that has the same shape as Alanta because don't ya think it would be kinda hard to build Atlanta when there already is one. Why would I want 2 of the same track anyway?
Here it is EXPLAINED BETTER. I would like to see another track Shaped like Atlanta, Texas, Charlotte, or even Vegas. I would also like to see another Short Track or maybe even a Road Course which would be better than California. Heck ANYTHING would be better than California, Even ANOTHER Atlanta.

Oh, so you like the cookie cutter tracks. That's cool I guess. I prefer tracks that have their own identity but to each their own I reckon.
LOL We are having the same discussion on two different threads and it doesn't matter because you are GONE til Monday and I can say all kinds of nasty things about you and you will forget which threads to check......... hmmmmmm........ should I take advantage of this opportunity? Naw, like shootin' fish in a barrel........

Ya know, I have always wondered why there is not a track shaped kind of like a figure 8, only the track doesn't cross all the way over. (><) That way there are both right and left turns. I guess it would actually be more like an hour glass. I hope I am being clear here. Both sides of the track they could have a smooth transition to the infield with banking that takes them into a right turn, a short stretch and then the traditional turns at both ends.
They could build the pits closer to the stands, which would be fun for the fans. I think the biggest benefit would be that there would be more passing. The driver would have to be a lot more alert than they are at the cookie cutter tracks.
