Well, if they are cheating to win, they're doing a good job of it - today's Busch race makes 6 in a row!!!!!!!

Well for me you've got to ask whats going on for Harvick alone to win 7 races this season 4 are cup right and in the past couple years hes only got like what 1 win a season and others 0 wins. Now all of a sudden hes winning all these races.

Check Harvick's record in the Busch Series - he's like this generation's Mark Martin there, and has been since he started.  The 7 wins aren't surprising, when you realize that all the years he's had 3 or 4 wins, he had only run about half the races, while showing the same consistentcy as he is now, too.  Other than 2001, it just never showed up at the top of the standings, because of the number of races he didn't run.

As for Cup, RCR is stronger across the board.  Look no further than the 07 car with a rookie - Clint Bowyer - driving it.  All those years everyone thought the 3rd car was the red headed step child there, and yet, he's near the Top 15 in points - which is higher than the 31 had ever finished, no matter who was driving it.  Jeff Burton just won his first race since 2001.  They have worked very hard to come back.   Smiley

ANother reason for Harvick to have so many CUP wins (IMHO) is his IS running all the BGN races...
I think he's one of those drivers thats needs the MAX amount of seat time to be on top of his game...
Look back to 2001... the last time he ran the full CUP season and the full BGN season. He had a successful run in both...
Since then he hadn't run a full BGN season, and he has struggled in the CUP series because if it (I think)
IMO,.. when he cuts back to running 'part time' next year in the BGN series,... I think the CUP series performance again will suffer

My blood pressure is just fine.  By the way, I started this whole thread by saying "I don't want to jump on bandwagons and tar and feather anyone before they have a trial".  There won't even be a trial.  It ended up being a big nothing, which is good.  It was kind of fun to discuss, but in the end there was no point in even talking about it.  I still think all these teams do everything they can to be competetive and sometimes that desire to win can cause some lines to be crossed, but I think it's stupid that they have half the rules they do anyway.  As I said before, I wish they could drive modified stock cars but that isn't going to happen.  It's still fun to watch and talk about though.
