I was just wondering if most people watch the whole race, tune in and out while they do something else, or do they just watch high lights after the race is over?

I usually watch the whole thing while I have my laptop open so I can see what is happening while they are away during commercials.  I find that I do miss things sometimes because I am focusing on how many tenths of a second such and such is behind so and so, but it is a fun way to watch a race.  TV repeats anything important, usually.  It also helps make the boring parts less boring.

Usually watch the whole race plus listen to it on Mrn at the same time.Comes in handy when the TV broadcast goes to commercial to hear whats going on by listening to Mrn on the radio!

I'll watch the whole thing early in the season. The races now... not real races. I'll catch the start, the finish and the Monday Sportscenter highlights.

I watch the whole race. And when tv goes to a commercial, I turn on MRN so that I don't miss to much of the race.

I used to take a nap in about ALL of them...
Since I started running my little fantasy pool... I stay awake for all of it (well most of the time)
The way I run the pool you have to watch the whole field.. you have to pick some of the best,.. some of the worst, and some of the middle... so you kinda got to keep track of everyone and where they are running as the race goes along.
Makes for a real interesting way to watch the race.

SO I hardly ever miss a race now...

I watch them all if I can watch them live, while listening in on Carl and Mark's radios on Trackpass...I like to know what's going on inside their cars. I usually "chat" with friends, also, during, so if it gets really boring, I'm chatting. If for whatever reason I have to watch it recorded, I do find that there are times during long green-flag runs that I fast-forward, but I generally don't go on-line to find out who won until I get to watch it. I don't like having the ending spoiled. Cheesy
