Geoff Smith, head guy over at Roush, has said they are working on that...I really hope they pony up and put him in the 6 truck full-time...Mark can handle it, and would STILL have more weekends off in the season, as he's not running Cup races the same weekend as truck races are at a different track...he's not that dedicated. Those weekends, Mark would have to be off of the Cup series.

We'll see. Smiley

I'm like you all.. I enjoy watching Mark race,.. and like to see him do well...
on the other hand,.. if I remember he stated the point of his retirement was to spend more time with his wife, and also his son, and be involved with Matts racing.
It surprised me he even came back at all to run 22 races next season,... so anything is possible.
But to see him run a full truck series schedule I think is out of the question,.. may happen, but I wouldn't bet a plug nickel on it.
NOW<.. it IS possible we may see him at a few companion CTS events on dates he is already at the track racing the CUP car,..
I just have a gut feeling,.. if he is retiring to spend time with his son,... he won't run full time in one series, and part time in another,.. he'd end up with even less time off than he had this year.... kinda defeats the purpose
Just thinking out loud,.. I may be totally wrong...??

THE INFO I RECIEVED IS THAT MARK IS LOOKING FOR A PARTIME
SCENERIO IN CTS (12) RACES APPROX. IT SEEMS ROUSH ...AGAIN WANTS HIM TO COMMIT
TO A FULL SEASON. ALSO FORD HAS INDICATED FOR THEM TO SUPPORT THIS EFFORT , MARK
WOULD HAVE TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE (DEDICATION) IN THE TRUCK CAMPAIGN. I THINK
YOU MAY WELL SEE MARK GO WITH MB2 AGAIN SINCE MR. GINN , SEEMS TO HAVE NO PROBLEM
WITH ACCOMODATING MARK'S NEEDS....RUMOUR HAS IT DOLLAR GENERAL , HAVE VOLUNTEERED
TO BE MARK'S PRIMARY SPONSOR , ONLY THE NUMBER OF RACES AND WHERE TO BE DETERMINED AS OF YET....WE'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE GUYS & GIRLS...INTERESTING...MAN !!! Huh?  Huh?

Yeah, I guess that'll be too much to hope for...but I still hope he at least gets to run the 6 truck part-time...with the hopes that when Mark IS ready to run fewer Cup races, he could go there full-time...I was SOOOO looking forward to him mauling the truck pack full-time next season, stinking it up, but that may not just happen...yet. Cheesy

I just read on my favorite website that Dan Davis which is Ford's racing boss said that there is still a slim chance that Martin could still run the roush truck Grin. Keep you finger's crossed.
