I got a Napster card and downloaded some awesome music lastnight. The artist range from Dwight Yoakam,Korn,Motley Crue,Rob Zombie,Uncle Kracker and others. I consider it the best CD in the world LOL. I think it is the best way to buy a CD. I know when I buy a CD I usually don't like the whole thing. 1 or 2 song's at most so I thought this was just the best thing ever. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.

I think my last one was Los Loney Boys or Keith Urban. LLB deserves more credit than they get. Those boys play some hot guitar!

Flame, Downloading just what you want is great, but I've found some awsome songs I would never have heard had I not bought the album.

Oh yeah Ros....that 'Henry' is one HOT man....long black hair....enough to knock any woman to her  knees....hubBA!!

And you are sooooo right about the guitar riffs.......and NO they do not get enough credit at all. Henry's licks sound like Santana & Richie Valens meets Johnny Lang type Latin Blues.  I especially love what they stand for: being yourself, being true to God and family, and being true to music….....How far is Heaven? I know but I'm not tellin!  Wink

Now that I think about it, maybe I should have asked which music have you most recently acquired ---- any format.
Bought, borrowed, or five-finger discount.
Maybe 'found' it.
"OH! LOOK!
Just what I wanted! Shocked

But, now I have another question. Huh?
Which or what music do you listen to most often?
Fer instance: If Someone were to take your car or pick-um-up,
what would they likely hear from the speaker system that you
left in the CD or cassette deck?

Uhhh, Can I ask ONE more question? Well, two including this question. Roll Eyes

Do you sing along while driving down the highways and byways when alone or with somebody? Undecided

I think I might have seen you. Shocked Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Wink

If I was limited to only a few CD's --- for whatever reson --- My Case-Logic would have to include;

T R I O.

Dolly Parton
Linda Ronstadt and
Emmylou Harris

A 1 - CD set.
**********************

Will The Circle Be Unbroken?

Volume I or Volume II
Both maybe.

One is 1 CD
One is a 2 CD set.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
And guests.
***************************

And ,.... GOTTA HAVE:

C A S H[/i]

Johnny Cash -- Anerican IV: The Man Comes Around

Johnny's last CD.
Arguably his finest.
****************************

EVANGELINE

French Quarter Moon
*****************************

Aaron Neville

Devotion CD
*****************************

Mix in assorted Ricky Van Shelton and
Randy Travis............................

........And I could do a West to East to West coast turn
and be pretty happy. Although, I'd miss Alison Krauss,
Gretchen Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, and.....................

that settles it!!
I'm stayin' home where the music is ---
stacked over there in the corner.
Pretty high.
Couple Hundred ---- easy.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Chet Atkins and Suzy Bogguss
Simpatico

And,......................no collection could be complete without .........

CLEDUS T. JUDD

BIPOLAR and PROUD

One CD includes the famous:

I LOVE NASCAR Shocked Roll Eyes Cheesy Cheesy
With a cameo by Toby Keith

PayCheck Woman  Kiss

Bake Me A Country Ham

I'm Going Ugly Early Tonight  Shocked Embarrassed Undecided

And for those Dixie Chicks Fans............ Roll Eyes

MARTIE, EMILY and NATALIE
(**New lyrical adaptation by Cledus T. Judd and
Christopher -- < Chris "P. CREAM"  Clark >**)

Be back in a minute...........................

I need to adjust the graphic-equalizers.
Perfect pitch.

Newest acquired: Ava Cassidy…My friend from England burnt me a copy of his cd……mellow but great stuff.

What’s in the old CD player right now? Yer not gonna laugh are ya?……I borrowed Cassies 100 % Funk CD……had it cranked up tonight actually….. “She's a brick... house_She's the one, the only one”….before that was a Fallout Boys CD. I’m usually all over the place…..I have some Country; Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Alabama, etc, Beatles…I love the British Invasion Era, CSN, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, AC/DC, KISS, The Corrs, …it just depends on my mood. I can rock out one minute & slow to smooth Jazz the next.  Shocked Grin

My portable CD player in my room has some Sarah McLachlan.

‘Do you sing along while driving down the highways and byways when alone or with somebody? Both….by myself or someone else. The girls and I sometimes take drives just do what we call ‘Car Dancin’….ya know loud tunes & dancing in the car……moon roof open and windows down….hair blowin in the wind kind of stuff. Kiss

Ya think ya seen me? Oh now I’m blushin and a gushin with the happy giggles. I didn’t look to silly now did I?  Roll Eyes

Your Round Trip music list sounds very doable on a long journey. I’m pretty easy and can listen to darn near anything. However I do not fancy Classical or Rap all that much. And add in any Celtic CD and there I go….dun melted all over the floorboard…..that’s what I go to sleep listen too sometimes…celticradio.net is the best.

Now can I ask a question? What was the last concert you went to? For me it was Mickey Thomas this last June….awesome show! Before that was Edgar Winter and before that was Molly Hatchet….told ya I was diverse.

-----------------------------
Music in my CD player? Mixes I make for the most part... Obscure stuff like 13th Floor Elevators... I  Stand Alone...in fact, anything solo by AL Kooper....ANY honkin R&B tunes from the Stax/Volt Catalogue/4 cD box set... The list is too endless...You might even find Benny Goodman Sing, Sing, SIng or Gershwin .. Rhapsody In Blue (have a CD actually cut from the ORIGINAL Gershwin Player Piano rolls...Its awesome)  or An American In Paris.. Etta James, BB King, Sam & Dave...I could go on forever..In fact, There's a 35lb carton on it's way from NY via DHL with just a small part of my cd library.... What I play at any given moment, depends on the mood i am in at the time and what I need to accomplish with the music...

Last Concert I went to?

Al Kooper at BB Kings in Time Square, NY.. Actually know Al quite well ( sold him several Macs while working as a tech in mid manhattan in the late 80s-mid 90s).. had a wonderful conversation renewing a freindship I treasure as much as the man's music  afterwards over a drink or two...

Before that,  Asia same location.... They were also awesome and did the Yes, Buggles,  & ELP songbooks as well as  ASIA stuff...unforgettable...

Saw Kieth Emmerson of ELP fame at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square... As usual, he was awesome...Did ALL the old ELP stuff with his own band...they were teriffic!!!

Before that, CSNY at Jones Beach, Long Island... About the only time I have EVER gone to a concert and actualy bawled my eyes out...

In between, giged several Sunday nights with a Knockout dynamite blues band .at a local Bar.. The Jim Moran Band... They are awesome...I WILL be going back with a friend for the Holidays in December.. we have a date to jam the night away playin the blues!!!

Musically, I am an expert on  obscure rock from around 1960-1979... My radio show was, is and always will be  "music that don't  get played anywhere else!!" Will let y'all know IF and when I return to webcastin and who the "mystery partner" might be...

My last concert???  Hmmm....Gigantour 2005 I think...Megadeth and others.  I wanted to go for Megadeth, but the others were great as well.  Dream Theater and Dave Mustaine did a nice rendition of Pantara's "Cemetary Gates" in honor of "Dimebag" Darrell
