Two days after his controversial last-lap bump-and-run at Talladega Superspeedway, Brian Vickers paid a visit to legendary driver and team owner Junior Johnson at Johnson's Yadkin County, N.C. home.

The conversation naturally turned to Vickers' backstraight bump of teammate Jimmie Johnson, the subsequent wreck that enveloped leader Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Vickers' run to his first win.

"What would you have done differently?" Vickers asked Johnson, who won 50 races during a Hall of Fame driving career that often saw him race over the edge.

"I told him, 'Hey, I would have wrecked them three laps earlier," Johnson said with a smile.

Cool Cool My opinion is that Junior Johnson would say and do that Cool Cool. Junior Johnson is to cool. I was watching a show on the History channel and they were talking about MOONSHINE. Junior was telling some GREAT stories of running the WHITE LIGHTNING. It was awesome.

Oh, I would say that'd be a fact.

Ya know, I'm not a huge Dale Jr. fan but I do like him. Out of that whole mess, he (Dale Jr.) is the only one I felt sorry for.

I seriously, seriously detest the #48  Angry (Well, not the actual number but the guy driving it)
