has replaced Robert "Bootie" Barker as crew chief for Jeff Green and the No.66 Haas CNC Racing Chevrolet in the Nextel Cup Series. Barker will take Holly's place as crew chief for Johnny Sauter and the No 00 Haas CNC Racing car in the Busch Series.

has had its new engine for 2007 approved, NASCAR Vice President of Competition Robin Pemberton said Oct. 12. The engine is an update of the SB2 design originally introduced in 1998.
