They're talking about rain in this area for alot of the weekend.  If nothing else it's gonna  be a cloudy chilly weekend here.  From looking at the forecast they're expecting rain until about noonish and then scattered stuff the rest of the afternoon with it picking back up around 9ish.  Boy am I glad I ended up not being able to get tickets and working all weekend.  I'd be a cold, wet, unhappy race fan this weekend.  Cause if we were to go we'd be out there overnight....I can't stand the traffic getting into and outta there!

Ooo.  Great question, Bryan.

I seem to recall that happening in the past, but I really don't know what the plan is for tomorrow.

I do see that the forecast calls for showers.   Angry

Umm actually the physical address of TMS is in fort worth...but i think it's technically in the city limits of Justin, TX

we're expecting a ton of rain here tomorrow, but i hope it holds off so the race can get in as scheduled....and hopefully it wont be as much of a yawner as tms races usually are....

Well...a look out the window this morning shows a very overcast sky.  So I went to weather.com and looked at the hour by hour for justin, tx (which happens to be the physical location of the track) and what do i see?  Rain ALL DAY LONG Sad  Rain and thundershowers that is....looking at the map currently there's nothing in the area, but it's only 8:30.

Also if the texas track gets really wet doesn't it take quite awhile to dry it because of it being so big.

I think there was a busch race there in 2002 that was delayed by rain and if i remember right it seemed like it took forever for them to get the track dry.

Maybe they've worked on that a little since then.

Somebody better alert the CDC.  There's gonna be a LOT of "sick" people tomorrow.   Grin
