Hmmmmmmm

Close my case or I'll take race dates away from Daytona Superspeedway.
Maybe just close the doors alltogether.

Originally, I figured the can of soda might have already been on the dash, fell off the dash and landed in the Brian's lap. But the article you posted Falcon, causes me to revisit that theory. Now, I'm wondering how a can of soda already on the dash could, upon impact, manage to be deposited in his lap considering a frontal impact would cause said can to be thrown toward the windshield (and down the defroster vents).

I find this hard to believe...even my Nissan pickup truck has 3, count them 3, cup holders on teh console, including an oversize one for oversize beverages...can you tell me the Lexus didn't?? Why put a can on the dash???

And the whole Brian drives a company car...that's a common practise in many large companies. Even smaller ones...I guy a know works installing electric garage doors...got a company truck that he not only drives around for jobs, but to and from work, too...mind you, it's no Lexus. :0

In Brian's defense.....

Yeah, like I would defend him! I heard about this last month when I went to my condo in DB for vacation. Face it folks, the France family own Daytona. That's not to say Bill Sr. would approve. Like I said in my last post, he's probably turning in his grave.

I also heard another peice of juicy juice while there. It seems Brian doesn't think that anyone should be able to walk near his condo, even if on public property (I said they owned Daytona - I just didn't think they would take it so seriously!). His condo is down by the Chart House on the waterfront It seems there is some land close by that is city property - close enough to the water to cast a line in, and also close enough for Brian to see from his place. He actually called the law and asked to have the man removed. The man stood his ground and sure enough, they arrested him. It seems the judge hearing the case wasn't too happy about it after the case was presented in court. Blasted the officers and the city attorney and apologized to the guy. This was apparently another incident that made the local papers but buried so deep very few folks saw it.

HEY, So HOW ABOUT OL' TONY RAINES TODAY!!

Ya know I cannot stand people like that. When I was young we use to play ball and whenever the ball would go in this guy's yard he would keep the ball. He said since it came on his property it now belonged to him. The thig about it was there was no fence or marking's of any kind. One day he wasn't home and the kid's on the other side was playing ball and someone hit a Homerun right thru his window. Believe it or not he could never prove who did it so he had to pay for that one. My Mom alway's said he would have to pay for those ball's he kept LOL.
