1.Well first of all I was wondering where everyone is located? Huh?

~* Me= Northern California-San Francisco Bay Area

2. Has anyone ever tried to organize some sort of weekend  Get-2Gether? I was thinking along the lines over a weekend race somewhere or maybe get really nuts and take a short 5 day Frontstretch Cruise! Anyone game? Shocked

Throw me some bones and let me know what you think.  Huh?

Sounds good, but southern Indiana is far enough away from Texas, much less northeast IN...whew...long ride

By the way, I currently live in Plano, Texas (LOL, thus why I am PlanoHarvickFan) but lived outside of Washington, DC for 18 years and grew up in western New York

Yea, it is.  I grew up in a little town about 20 miles south of Buffalo (Eden....as in the Garden of...).  I'd love to move back if we could all get jobs.  Oh and by the way, NYC is NOT part of NY (LOL, that's what most NYers other than the city people say).  Did you ever get to Niagara Falls?   GG's mother-in-law (who lives in Evansville, IN) went up there with for their wedding (gordongurl's wedding, that is) and we went to the Falls the day after the wedding.  At first sight of the Falls, she was so excited she started to cry.  It really is breathtaking.

I am CENTRALLY located just west of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

so, everyone meet here at my place!

But seriously folks, we got this new track that Rusty Wallace is building in Newton, Iowa which is just east of Des Moines a bit. It is scheduled to open in September.  www.iowaspeedway.com Rusty was trying to get the IRL to race there as early as next year. I'd bet that in the next couple of years they will probably have a NCTS (Trucks) race there! That would be cool.

My next race(s) will be the Truck and Busch race in Milwaukee the weekend of June 23 rd, which I will be covering for Frontstretch.com!  If anyone is going to be in Milwaukee, let me know and we can meet up!

Well, we could do a west coast one and an eastern one. course we ALL wouldn't get to see each other, but its better than nothing. Heck lets have 3 divisions West, Midwest and Eastern.

Ya know,I've been writing for Frontstretch for 3 yrs now and I've yet to personally meet any of the other frontstretch staff!
That is just wrong!

We talked about this before (several times) we finally decided the only way it would  happen  (ALL of us) is if someone hits the lottery. BIG time!
Several people have meet up at races though, I think BBabe holds the record (then again she moves evey other week!!) I have met DaHawk and The Duckster Kiss.  A couple others here I'd love to meet. One in the great white north and one in tornado alley,to mention a few.  Grin

I'd like to get to Richmond this year. Hey! doesn't SOME ONE live close to there now??

I'm gonna go get a lottery ticket!
Wow now there's an idea!  We can all pool our money and someone can buy the ticket, when we hit, it's party time at FS!!!

I second that one...let us know how that work Ros.

In all seriousness I'm in Texas just north of dallas.  My hubby got us tickets to the Daytona 500 (2005) and we got to meet 4 people...including BBabe who yes does move very often.  We got together at this little bar to watch the truck race....that was a blast!
