I know we have talked about it until were BLUE in the face but I was reading something and it came to me and that isn't normal because I usually have to go looking for thing's.

I think we can all agree that the Busch series needs to do something to make itself it's own series again so this was my idea.

The first race of the year for the Busch series would be at Daytona as usual then things should change from there. After Daytona the Cup series would go-ahead as normal but the Busch series would go backwards on the Schedule. After Daytona they would go to Homestead and proceed from there.

1. This may not STOP the Buschwackers from racing but the cost of Traveling from California to Florida just for Practice which is what it's all about anyway.
2. It would also let all of the fulltime Busch drivers get the exposer that they need.

IMO the only reason that the Buschwackers even run in the series is to get some idea of how their Cup cars are going to run on sunday but if they are not running on the same track then that may make them think twice. I could see if your half way through the season and your in the top 10 in points traveling out of state to run the series but if your going to the other side of the side of the country then it wouldn't make much sense. This would also mean that the Cup drivers and the Busch series would only meet during the middle of the season. So basiclly the Cup drivers would only be able to run in 2 Busch races all year unless they wanted to travel but I honestly think this would make them think twice.

I like your idea but it would never fly because a large percentage of tickets would never get sold at tracks that didn't also concurrently run the Cup races.  People make a weekend of it and see 2 or 3 races.  I think it might work if they had the trucks and Busch racing at the same weekend, though.  I like that they go to some tracks that are not on the Cup schedule.  Now that ESPN has all the Busch races I think it will be a capable series all on it's own, if only they can get the Cup guys out of it.

I don't know bout ya'll but I much prefer the trucks to the B league.  The racing seems more exciting and seems to matter more to the participants.  Right now, the non Cup guys racing in Busch know that they have almost no chance of winning.  Even the 2 races that were won by non Cupsters could have been won by the Cup guys if they had used different pit strategy.  Anything more said will be retread so I'll leave it at that.

Once the COT is Officially Utilized , the Cup Boys will have no reason to be interested in competition in the
Busch or Walmart Sponsored Series. Only the True Racers from Cup will compete for the Thrill of True
Competition..and only at Companion Events that do not severely disrupt the Cup Sponsorship Related
Interests.
