What was that ' yellow / red liquid stuff" in Mikeys manifold ?

The latest is that the substance did not originate in the manifold but in the fuel or fuel lines.   After he made his qualifying run the new manifold had the same residue. 

One of the violations on the Everham or Kenseth car was for a hole that the oil cooler line runs thru and is not used in qualifying.  The normal procedure is to tape over the hole and the tape came loose.

In an interview on XM yesterday Ray said that he has done whatever it was he was caught for almost all of last year.

I was only half listening but I think that the rivets or bolts that was holding the spoiler to the rear decklid was center drilled.

The rivets were drilled out is what they said. Seems very minor to me IMHO, and I doubt its even addressed in the rule book to be honest

NASCAR to announce #55 substance next week: NASCAR is expected to announce next week at California what exactly they found in the fuel system of Michael Waltrip’s #55 Toyota Camry after Daytona 500 qualifying last Sunday. Waltrip’s car was found to have an unidentified, gel-like performance additive, which NASCAR inspectors have sent out for laboratory analysis. In 2000, when Jeremy Mayfield’s car was found to have tainted fuel at Talladega, it was nearly two weeks after his car failed inspection before test results of his fuel were made public.

I agree with ya 110% Blu. I doubt that it is in the Rule Book but I know that there is a Rule about the Quater Panels being a Certain Height LOL.
