LEBANON, Tenn. (March 26) — Brandon Miller learned on Saturday in the NASCAR Busch Series Pepsi 300 that a stellar driving performance and a fast car can be washed away by circumstances that are out of the team’s control.

“We had a really good car today,” said Miller, who finished 25th at Nashville Superspeedway. “We were running laps just as fast as some of the leaders. It was just unfortunate that we had to deal with some really bad luck. We got a flat tire early in the race that put us a lap down, and just when I was about to get back on the lead lap, we suffered another flat. The REESE’S Chevy ran really good this weekend, and I can’t believe we do not have anything to show for it.”

Rookie driver Reed Sorenson captured his first career win. Kenny Wallace, Shane Hmiel, Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer rounded out the top five, in that order.

The REESE’S Racing team has a strong hold on third place in the team standings, trailing Carl Edwards’ first-place team by 110 points.

“We really had a great car, but everything seemed to go wrong all at once,” Miller said. “The first flat tire really hurt us, but just when we were about to overcome it, we got another flat. I hate it for the No. 21 guys, but we just need to keep our heads up. Everything will come around very soon.”

Nextel Cup Series veteran Jeff Burton will drive the No. 21 Chevrolet at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Saturday. As part of the debut of two limited edition cups: REESE’S Peanut Butter Lovers and REESE’S Chocolate Lovers on March 15, Burton will drive the REESE’S Peanut Butter Lovers car, and Kevin Harvick will drive the No. 29 REESE’S Chocolate Lovers car.

While Harvick and Burton will be campaigning on the track, they are also encouraging REESE’S lovers to taste, vote and win as part of “The Great REESE’S Limited Edition Vote.” After enjoying the new REESE’S Peanut Butter Lovers and REESE’S Chocolate Lovers Peanut Butter Cups, consumers can log on to www.REESES.com to enter their favorite winning combination. All entrants will have the chance to win a trip for four to the sweetest place on Earth – Hershey, Pa. Voting runs now through September 20, 2005, and is limited to one online entry per person.
