Jamie McMurray on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“I’m really excited to race the No. 09 Zaxby’s Ford F-150 this
weekend at Martinsville. For the last few years, I’ve been asking Jack
to put me in the truck for this race. Martinsville is one of my
favorite tracks on the circuit and to be able to get into the truck this
weekend will be a lot of fun. The last time I was in a truck was back
in 2004 at Martinsville and we won the race, so I’m really looking
forward to it.”

Crew chief Chad Norris on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“It will be cool to have Jamie in our truck this weekend at
Martinsville. I’ve worked with Jamie quite a bit over the last few
years and I know he’s really looking forward to racing the truck.
We’ve got a good Ford F-150 for him. We spent a day testing it
last week with Travis Kvapil, and it’s the same truck Travis finished
third with at New Hampshire last month. Travis also ran it at Dover and
Martinsville earlier this year.”

Fast Facts:
-This will be Jamie McMurray’s 25th Craftsman Truck Series start, but
his first for Roush Fenway Racing. He has one win, three top five’s,
six top 10s and three poles in the NCTS.

-McMurray’s win in the truck series came at Martinsville Speedway in
his only truck start there in 2004.

-In addition to McMurray’s truck stats, he has one top five and seven
top 10’s in Sprint Cup competition at Martinsville.

-McMurray will race chassis RK-42. It is the same truck Travis Kvapil
finished third with at New Hampshire last month. Kvapil also raced it at
Dover (fourth) and the first Martinsville (seventh) race.
