RICK CRAWFORD AT MEMPHIS MOTORSPORTS PARK
The Circle Bar/International Truck and Engine team will utilize chassis CB-17 this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park. Chassis CB-17 has visited victory lane on two separate occasions: at ORP in 2006 and at Loudon in 2005. This is the same truck that was raced to a 12th-place finish last weekend in Milwaukee and finished fifth earlier this season at Martinsville Speedway.
Crawford will be guest DJ on Sirius|XM‟s Elvis Radio on Friday from 11 a.m. – noon CDT. Elvis Radio is broadcast live from Graceland on Sirius channel 13 and XM channel 18.
Crawford is one of two drivers to have competed in all 11 truck series races at MMP. Crawford stands alone, however, as the only driver to have been running at the finish in all 11 races.
Crawford has completed the most laps of any driver in truck series competition at MMP (2,201), 194 laps more than his closest competitor.
With his 12th-place finish last weekend at Milwaukee, Crawford maintained his ninth-place standing in the driver points and is 50 points out of the top five and 215 points out of the lead.
In 307 career Camping World Truck Series starts, Crawford has posted 152 top-10 finishes –a mark of 50.0%.
In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 277 races, the most of any driver in the series and a mark of 90.2%.
Crawford has logged over 52,000 miles in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
competition, the most of any driver in series history.
Crawford will make his 308th start – extending a Series record – this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park. Crawford‟s impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997.
Crawford’s Thoughts on MMP:
“We‟re taking the same truck that ran up front last week at Milwaukee, and to be good at Memphis you need a truck that can handle the bumps and dips on the racing surface. I always enjoy Memphis Motorsports Park, whether it‟s going there for the NHRA event or the O‟Reilly 200. Racing aside, Memphis is the home of „The King of Rock „n‟ Roll‟ and Beale Street. It‟s always been a good town for me as far as having a good time and great food. It‟s just a nice atmosphere downtown, but then when you go out to the track, it‟s short-track racing at its best. The bottom line is to pick up the Elvis trophy at the end of the weekend.”

Do you want the chance to win a free Frontstretch T-Shirt, and are you really good at talking about NASCAR? Well, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our staff will be giving away a free T-Shirt to the reader who makes the best post in our Frontstretch Forum between now and the end of the season. So, what makes a good post? It’s pretty hard to impress us, but here are some things we are looking for:
Does your post spark passionate reactions from other readers? Are you commenting on meaningful NASCAR-related events? Do your posts have substance? In other words, “Dale Jr. is the best driver ever” or “Danica Patrick is hot” will not cut it.
So go to the Frontstretch Forums, post early, post often, and post well! We’ll announce the winner following the final race of the season at Homestead.
