Braun on racing at Las Vegas:
“I’ve been looking forward to this race for a long time for many
reasons. Of course I’m looking forward to the race itself since Vegas
is such a fun track to race on. I love the 1.5-mile tracks, they really
suit my driving style and we always run well there. We’re taking one of
my favorite trucks, chassis 43. We won Michigan with it, and most
recently finished third in Nashville last month.
“It’s also a big week for me since Tuesday is my 21st birthday. I came
out to Vegas early so I could say I spent my 21st birthday in Vegas. I
don’t plan to do anything wild or crazy, but Vegas is always fun so it
should be a good time.”
Crew chief Mike Beam on racing at Las Vegas:
“I am anticipating a solid run in Vegas. The combination of that track
and the truck we are bringing should put us in contention for our second
win. This truck has been a consistent performer all season so we always
know what to expect from it. Colin runs really well at the intermediate
tracks so I think it will be a good weekend for us. We’re in the top
five in points now so we need to stay up there and pull away from sixth.”
