PREVIEW: JAMES BUESCHER (NO. 31 WOLF PACK RENTALS CHEVROLET)

CIRCUIT: NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES (RACE 17 OF 25)
DATE: AUGUST 27, 2010 (150 LAPS, 225 MILES)
BUESCHER AT CHICAGOLAND… James Buescher will be making his second NCWTS start at Chicagoland Speedway. In his prior attempt, he started in the 16th-position and finished in 20th. Additionally, he has made one ARCA start in 2008, where he started in 10th and finished in 36th-place due to an engine failure.
BUESCHER ON COMPETING AT CHICAGOLAND: “I really like mile and a half race tracks, and we’ve run really well on them so far this year, so I’m looking forward to going to Chicago. We definitely didn’t have the race we were looking for last weekend at Bristol, but that’s something you just sort of expect at a short track like that. I know that we, as a team, have put that behind us, so we’re just ready to get out there and get back to having those top-five finishes.”
CHASSIS INFORMATION… Crew chief Michael Shelton has chosen Turner Motorsports chassis No. 11 for Buescher to run at Chicagoland Speedway. This particular Chevrolet has been on-track at Kansas, Charlotte, Texas and Pocono where Buescher finished 16th, fourth, sixth and 11th respectively.
LOOKING BACK… Despite starting the race on the outside pole, Buescher’s night ended early at Bristol Motor Speedway when he was caught up in another competitor’s wreck on lap 84 while running in the sixth-position, leaving him with a 33rd-place finish.
THE SEASON SO FAR… In the 13 NCWTS races he’s run this season, Buescher has recorded an average starting position of 7.4 and an average finishing position of 11.2. He’s scored four top-five finishes and six top-10 fishes. Additionally, he’s qualified within the top-five seven times.
MEET THE DRIVER: Fans can meet James Buescher at Chicagoland Speedway during the at-track autograph session on Friday, August 27 from 1 – 2 pm.
