Everything is Bigger in Texas- Fantasy Insight Texas 2
Dennis Michelsen · Wednesday November 2, 2005
Texans will tell you that everything is bigger in Texas. This week I hope that "Tire Issues" are not one of those "Every things." We have been plagued by tire problems all season. You might even say that when it comes to the rubber on the NASCAR circuit it has been a very bad year for Goodyear. High speeds and the desire for a softer tire have added up to a disaster at many of the faster tracks on the circuit. Worse yet NASCAR and Goodyear never seem to learn from their mistakes either. Luckily no one has gotten seriously hurt thanks to good fortune and safer walls. But let’s hope that the one thing that is not bigger on Sunday in the Dickie’s 500 are the wrecks.
