Always good to see Bobby Allison at the track!
“Bristol on Steroids” is the best description I have ever heard when it comes to Dover
Slugger Labbe out with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever? Whats next a guy missing time because he trips going up the stairs? No that’s what happens to baseball players!
F for Craftsmen Truck Series Marketing People
I am so sick of those commercials hyping the Truck Series. There is no doubt that this series provides some of the best racing every week so we don’t need to exagerate! 180MPH in 45 degreee banking?
Also when they talk about trucks racing so close at 180mph they show the trucks at Bristol! These trucks are fast but only John Force could manage reaching 180mph at Bristol and he wouldn’t make the first turn!
D for Jeff Gordon’s Whining
When Tony Stewart bumped Gordon out of the way there is no doubt that Tony was racing a bit rough for so early in the race. But Tony was right when he said, “Some of these guys think they own the roads out here.” Jeff has used the old bump and run his whole career so it was nice to see some paybacks!
C for Robby Gordon
It took pit strategy to get Robby to the front but he managed to stay up there on his own on older tires. But losing a tire and then speedingo n pit road dug a hole he was unable to climb out of by the end of the day.
B for Kyle Busch
This guy is starting to look like something other than a rookie racing up front and pretty clean too. Mark Martin was quick to compliment the youngest of the new young guns after racing in close quarters with him all day.
A for Greg Biffle
No one else in the series is as good driving a car that is almost out of control. The only save he couldn’t make last week was while doing donuts when he backed the car into the wall. But I think Jack and his crew won’t mind some damage during the post-race celebration as he wins his way towards Roush Racing’s third title in a row with the third different driver!
