Over an hour of pre-race coverage is over kill especially when very little original content was offered
Seven different winners in the seven Cup races at California show off the kind of parity NASCAR wants
For a guy that took steroids, wasn’t that the wimpiest green flag waving we have seen in a long time? Looked more like a “Girlie Man” than a “Governator!”
Check out Stock Car Pit Pass every week for more “Making the Grade” coverage of the Craftsmen Truck and Busch series events.
F for Budwesier Team
The old adage, “You win as a team and lose as a team,” means that everyone on the Budwesier teams gets to share this failing grade! This was the second worst performance ever for this team.
D for Hendricks Motors
Motors not only have to be strong but have to last 500 miles. Four Hendricks motors gave out before the end of the race on Sunday.
C for Bobby Hamilton Jr
In this sport you have to finish in the top twenty consistently before you can expect to find your way to Victory Lane. Cal Well’s got the “Give the Kids the World Tide Ride” to a decent 20th place finish for a single car team.
B for Carl Edwards
This guy always has a big smile on his face and yes he is just as nice as he seems. But this guy also knows how to race and proved it this week with a strong fifth place effort.
A for Greg Biffle
The old saying “It Ain’t Bragging If You Do It” came to mind this weekend while watching Biffle race. On Saturday he guaranteed he would be leading the race by the fifth lap and would win the race on Sunday. Not only did he back up the bragging, but he came back from a lap down to win! Roush Racing is well on its way to a third straight title…but which one of the outstanding corp of drivers will get it done is the question.
