The Nextel Cup stars return to Pocono where just a few weeks ago
tire problems were the rule rather than the exception. The same tires
return but gone are the rumble strips in the tunnel turn that
Goodyear blamed for the trouble. Teams will know not to run lower
pressures, but hold your breath folks because temperatures might be
warmer and we might see more tire woes. Over 20 tires blew out during
the first Pocono weekend so Goodyear can’t help but have better luck
this week!
