2009 Hat Dance Dynasty Home Page

Do you think you have what it takes to be a NASCAR team owner? Do you think you can build a dynasty? Will your team be celebrating in victory lane doing the hat dance more often than not?

If you think you have what it takes, then Frontstretch’s newest fantasy game Hat Dance Dynasty is just for you! Each week you will have to put a four driver lineup on the track while remaining under the salary cap.

Here are a few game highlights, read the full rules section below for more information:

  • Salary cap is $130,000
  • Rosters can contain no more than 4 drivers.
  • Driver salaries can change weekly.

The first step is to register your team name. Please fill out the form below and submit your choice of a four number password. No letters are allowed. We will send you a confirmation of your registration, so please make sure to provide us with a valid email address. You will be able to login and create your team no later than Feb 7th.

You must register prior to making your picks so a password can be sent to you. If you are creating your own password, please use numbers, not letters.

Rules:

- Each team owner is allowed a salary cap of $130,000 to hire a total of four drivers.

- Salaries may change as often as weekly when scoring is completed for each race. If these salary changes put your team over the cap, you will either have to make changes yourself or when scoring is done the following week the driver with the lowest salary will be dropped until you are back under the salary cap.

- You can bank money each week you don’t use the full salary cap. Up to 25% of the overall cap can be banked at one time.

- Driver salaries will only be changed once per week after scores are posted. The only exception is if drivers are entered midweek based on the entry list that is released usually on Wednesdays. Those drivers will be added at appropriate salaries.

- Drivers are scored based on car number not the driver. For instance, if you pick driver A for car #13 but driver B actually drives on Sunday. You will receive points for car #13 no matter who was listed as the driver when you made your selection.

- Overall scores will be kept through the entire 36 race season. There are no separate segments.

- All entries will be due one hour prior to the race. Each week’s deadline will be posted on the Frontstretch Fantasy Racing Central home page.

- Rosters are locked once the deadline passes and can not be changed.

- Scores will be posted Monday evenings after the official race results are released.

Etc:

- Salaries may change week to week depending on driver performance.

- If you do not submit a new team, you will keep the same team you had in place the week before. If you are over the cap,

- Drivers earn points based on CAR NUMBERS. So if the driver is replaced mid-race; you will still receive points. Also, if a driver change is made mid-week the new driver is not always updated in the database prior to you making your picks for the week. Remember we score based on the car number, not the driver listed.

- The overall winner will receive a trophy and a Frontstretch prize package.
