Think you have a handle on this year's Chase for the Championship? Well, Frontstretch.com wants to put you to the test. Simply submit a list of which of the Chase drivers you believe will earn the most points in each of the ten races in the Chase.
Sounds pretty easy, right? Well, you know we can't make it that simple. The catch is that you can only use a driver one time during the Chase AND you must submit your picks before the Chase starts at Loudon. You will receive the points earned each week by the driver that you chose for that race.
See the sample and rules below for more information.
Rules:
- You can use a driver at one track only. For example: you may not pick Jeff Gordon as your driver at Kansas and Homestead . It has to be one or the other.
- Submissions may not be changed after the deadline passes. If you submit multiple forms, we will consider the newest one as active.
- Scores will be updated weekly on Frontstretch.com
- There will be two tie-breaker questions for you to fill in on the submission form (2007 Champion and Runner-up), these will be used in the case of a tie when determining the winner via points.
Deadlines: Selection forms will be made available ASAP following the Richmond race and no later than Monday September 10th. Forms must be in one hour prior to the start of the Sylvania 300 at Loudon September 16, 2007. Forms will be checked to make sure the rules have been followed (ie: no driver has been selected for multiple races) we will send back incomplete or invalid forms if time allows. We will check and send back any invalid forms that come in before Midnight CT on Saturday, any teams that come in Sunday morning will not be checked. So it's better to send them in as early as possible.
Scoring: Each week you will earn the driver points awarded for that week to the driver you have selected for that particular race. Points will be determined using the official NASCAR race results that are normally released Monday following the race. No deductions will be made for any potential point penalty the team may incur later in the week. Scores will be tallied each week and posted on the website. The player with the highest point total at the end of the Chase will be named the winner. If there is a tie, we will use the tie-breakers listed on the submission form.

Message Board Quote of the Week: “I don’t see how Rusty + DEI + COT = competitive on the racetrack in 2009. I do see how Rusty could hook a sponsor, though, which DEI needs more than ever with Paul Menard leaving and taking the Menards money with him.” Scott B on rumors that Rusty Wallace would be making a return to NASCAR behind the wheel of a DEI-owned machine
