Greetings, Race Fans! Kurt Smith is finally back from vacation, and stirring the pot like only he can as you saw yesterday with yet another Chase diatribe. That guy’s starting to sound like an incessantly barking dog, isn’t he? Anyways, for a little change of pace he took the time to give us a closer look at the pics that told the real story of the race to the Chase last weekend at Richmond!
“Oh yeah, Kyle still scratches himself and sniffs his hand when no one’s looking, just like you said! It’s classic, man!”
“Great, Gibson. Brings us good luck. Maybe you’ve noticed the way Krissie’s horse has been hobbling, too.”
“I cannot believe they lost the Domino’s bonus card again.”
“Holy crap, who’s this nut? Oh, hey, Richard. Didn’t recognize the eyes.”
“Bud, for crying out loud, can we get a new official in my pit? This guy’s trying to lift my truck like Yoda again!”
With a Democrat back in the White House, Rick Hendrick and Gene Haas could breathe a sigh of pardonable relief.
Angela Skinner excitedly attempts another “victory pole vault” after her husband Mike’s Gateway win.
While Denny Hamlin appreciated all of the Richmond victory gifts, he soon found that the free Sprint Mega-Blackberry was difficult to carry and not nearly as convenient as he was told.
Jimmie Johnson hid behind Tony Stewart during the celebration to keep his firesuit clean for the next Lowe’s meet-and-greet, knowing full well that Lowe’s might not foot the cleaning bill this time in their cost-cutting efforts.
