The Frontstretch Foto Funnies! Pocono, August 2010

Kurt Smith · Wednesday August 4, 2010

Editor’s Note: Frontstretch is proud to bring back the popular Foto Funnies! Every Wednesday, our Kurt Smith will take a handful of pictures from last weekend’s race and tell us what “really” happened in those Kodak moments. So, in honor of Sunday’s event, here’s a few behind-the-scenes captions from the Twilight Zone 24 Hours… err, I mean 500 miles of Pocono out in northeast Pennsylvania!

Kyle Busch fumed as Elliott Sadler blew the cover off his assertion that “Not every Cup guy can just show up and win in the Truck Series!”

With the DuPont firesuit on, Aric Almirola got carried away giving interviews, forcing Steve Letarte to settle which of the two was the actual Jeff Gordon.

With Kyle Busch having won the race, his crew could rest easy, knowing they wouldn’t have to push the car to the garage.

Kyle Busch slides by Trevor Bayne for the lead, prompting ESPN to immediately deactivate Rusty’s microphone.

“Car is great, guys. Hopefully, a green-white-checkered won’t ruin our day again. Whoops, don’t tell NASCAR I said that, OK?”

“Let’s hurry up and get this done, Elliott’s gotta go change his pants.”
