Honda Power:  Honda comes to Indianapolis Motor Speedway second in the Manufacturers’ Championship, with 24 points, trailing Chevrolet by 12.  Lotus is third with 16th.

Kimball Featured in “Car Town” Game:  In Car Town’s 2012 Indy 500 Challenge, race as one of the world’s fastest IZOD IndyCar Series drivers, Kimball.  By owning his car in-game, players have the chance to earn an additional bonus if their driver wins races in the real-world.  Featuring the new 2012 chassis design built for versatility, players can build and tune up their car for optimal performance on the popular Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Recruit friends and assemble the perfect pit crew to speed off to victory lane.  Having the best pit crew can lead to rewards; change tires and refuel your pace car in the quickest time to solidify your spot on the leaderboard.
Spreading the Word:  Throughout the IZOD IndyCar Series season, Kimball has made visits to churches, hospitals and medical centers to speak to families and children living with diabetes at each race location.  As an advocate for diabetes care and prevention, Kimball will continue his drive to inform and inspire on the subject throughout the month of May by visiting Indiana-based locations. 
Kimball Behind-the-Scenes:  Kimball and the Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing crew will be featured in a 60-second national television spot, which began running during the week of February 27th and will continue to air for several months.  In addition, Novo Nordisk will be running videos about NovoLog FlexPen featuring Kimball and the NNCGR team at track-side events throughout the season.
Sao Paulo Recap:  Kimball had a career-best finish of eighth in the Itaipava Sao Paulo Indy 300 on the Streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil.  The finish came in his 21stcareer IZOD IndyCar Series start and second at Sao Paulo, besting his previous career-best finish of ninth (St. Petersburg 2012, New Hampshire 2011.)
In the Points:  As a result, Kimball is now 15th in the IZOD IndyCar Series point standings with 68 markers, -112 points behind the leader Will Power.
Indy History:  Last season, Kimball made history as the first diabetic driver to race in the Indianapolis 500.  Kimball started his first 500-mile race from 28th and would cross the finish line in 13th-place as the second highest-finishing rookie.  This will be his second start in the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and his 22nd IZOD IndyCar Series career start.
Oval Success:  Kimball recently gave the Chip Ganassi Racing organization and Honda a sweep of the fastest laps during the IZOD IndyCar Series open test at Texas Motor Speedway.  Kimball ran a lap of 211.330mph in the No.83 Novo Nordisk Honda to take the top honors in the afternoon session, which was second overall.
Kimball on the 500:  "I'm more than ready to begin practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  May is a highlight of my season, and the opportunity to line up at the Yard of Bricks on race morning is something I never take for granted.  We've made a lot of progress on the ovals in testing recently.  We're really beginning to work well together on quickly figuring out what works on oval setups--me, Brad [Goldberg, engineer], Mitch [Davis, strategist] and the whole Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing team.  Going into Opening Day on Saturday we'll be looking to build a strong foundation, with an emphasis on the all-important qualifying day.”
