NCTS Milwaukee Mile Happy Hour Update

Jeff Meyer · Friday June 23, 2006

As Happy Hour for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series comes to a close here at the Milwaukee Mile, the No. 60 Toyota of Jack Sprague topped all entries as we head into qualifying later this afternoon.

Sprague's lap of 29.962 just barely beat “hometown” favorite Johnny Sauter's best of 30.001. Sauter did not race in last year's Truck race here, but he is the defending champion of tomorrow night's Busch Series AT&T 250 and definitely knows his way around this one mile oval. Bobby Hamilton, Jr. was a close 3rd with a lap of 30.045.

David Ragan, Ted Musgrave and Ron Hornaday Jr. filled in spots 4 through 6, with Matt Crafton, Johnny Benson, Erik Darnell and Rick Crawford rounding out the Top 10.
