The “Whip Inflation Now” Program Helps Race Fans Win at the Track
Concord, NC. (July 2, 2008) – With record fuel prices and tough economic conditions, NASCAR fans are still showing their love and dedication to the sport by making weekly pilgrimages to their near-by race tracks. As an expression of gratitude for the fans’ continued support, Motorsports Authentics is instituting a new program, both at-track and through its internet sales channels, to help race fans make the most of their NASCAR experience while they battle economic inflation
The “Whip Inflation Now” (WIN) program will offer special pricing on items from apparel to die-cast and novelties each weekend at trackside merchandise trailers. Special pricing will be in the form of top-line price reductions and special bundle pricing in which race fans can get a free or reduced-price item with purchase.
Studies show NASCAR fans travel the furthest distance to events of all American professional sports, so race fans are deeply affected by rising prices of gasoline and other essentials. Fans need help in stretching their hard-earned dollars, and that’s what the WIN program is designed to accomplish.
“We know times are hard for all Americans right now,” Mark Dyer, president and CEO of Motorsports Authentics, said. “We want race fans to know how much we appreciate the fact that they’re coming to the track and supporting the sport, and we hope the WIN program will make it a little easier for them to support their favorite team and driver as well.”
The WIN program’s official launch will take place this weekend at Daytona International Speedway with a $30 reduction off of the normal retail price of all team twill jackets and a $10 reduction on standard paint scheme die-casts. Each weekend, trackside merchandise trailers will feature different price reductions and special packages for all drivers, teams and sponsors. Additional WIN-priced items can be found online at www.goracing.com
